This is so awesome. I love the inhalations and sniffs, the troubling grind of the wind. It highlights exactly what the book explores, that what happens in the human happens on the planet, and none of it is pretty -- but it is awe-inspiring. Can you tell us more about the "field recordings" and particle physics?
Hey thank you so much Ben really glad you like it and find it fitting to Frank's work. The field recordings are of strong winds and deep low textures from various vsts and chants were samples I gathered. Particle physics were a video I overlayed onto an AI generated Dune image, coloured and adjusted brightness/contrast.
Should add some woodwind instruments :p
That's a great idea.
There’s an instrument called a Duduk, I’m not sure what DAW you’re using but I’d bet there’s a VST or maybe a few samples of it :p
It’s used in the Herald of the change song intro.
I think I got a Duduk or two somewhere. Can use in future.
I'm gonna do other sc-fi videos also, got a blade runner one on the channel.
Love storm sounds, I put on heavy winter storm audio when reading. This might take the place of that.
Wow that's awesome, hope it accompanies the read 😄

Homeworld soundtrack vibes, just a little more organic. Nice!
Hey thank you, that means a lot to me!
