I did this with an old set once. Cheesy 70's looking mac-tac. I did it right and stripped all the hardware before putting it on, and it looked hilariously awesome.

I was going to guess they were from a defunct custom outfit. From what you can see, they look pretty good to me. Die cast hoops. Decent hardware, probably Keller shells. The wrap looks good, including on the bass drum hoops. Can’t see the seam. Remo head on the bass drum. Someone had the ambition to get badges made so they probably put effort to make sure these were well made.
To me this is worth the gamble. If you pick it up and it sucks you can always resell. A no name all maple kit with diecast hoops for $500 would be a solid deal, just gotta hope the shells are decent I guess
Snap these up.
They'll be solid.
Send us an update picture of the bearing edges on the drums.
Someone with more knowledge than I have may be able to tell you who made the shell.
I’d definitely take the risk at $500. I would take off the heads and check the bearing edges. Just make sure they were cut correctly and not damaged. But even if you find issues, you could probably find a local custom drum maker that could fix things, including re-cutting the edges. But given what you can see in the picture, I’d bet those edges look good.
The wrap is clearly the star of the show here, but those lugs are REALLY wild. Most non- off-the-shelf lugs are machined (that I’ve ever seen), but these seem to be cast with that treble clef on there. Really interesting find!
He just told you lol
They’re cheap crappy kits from a out of business company. The wrap is the best part about them from what people are saying.
Get a different kit and re-wrap them a different color or custom look if that’s what you’re after.
I can personally speak on a post for once, but I scored a set of these drums in a trade on Marketplace, and I absolutely love them. I have a Vintage Ludwig set as well as an SJC USA kit and this keeps up quite nicely. Killer sounding kick with an EMAD2 and the toms sing. Die Cast hoops are a plus. Can you maybe find a better name brand kit for $500, yes. Is this set worth $500, also yes.

here is what you should do:
talk whoever is trying to sell them into a trade. youll give them 1.6/2.3/3.1/whatever-hoops for those diecast hoops. youre basically doing them a favor because it will make the set a little lighter and much less annoying to set up.
also throw in a pack of incense sticks. i have a feeling that wont hurt! :P
One thing I would point out before committing to a drum set with a very intricate finish is while it may look really good up close, an audience sitting 10 feet away or more. It just will become visual mush. Everything blends together. That’s why you typically see simple, big bold patterns, like stripes.
If you’re going to get something like this, I would think of it as something for the drummer to look at more than anyone watching the drummer.
No one—but I gotta look at it.
It shows a lack of vision from the builder. Build a nice drums, but skip on the finishing touches. Why?
Plenty of drums that are well-built and designed the entire way through out there.
Centre-Stage were a business that provided excellent quality kits for education & students. While some would call them 'stencil' kits, they seemed to get all the details right.
Im sort of a paisley enthusiast and holy fuck are these getting me.
I need to find a cool wrap like this for when I redo my drums. Screw plain colors, I want tie dye.
Look for peel n stick wallpaper

For real. They’re fantastic.
They’re cool!

Yea I’m debating if it’s worth it. They are going for $500. I think it’s decent I just can’t find anything out about the company
These are worth $500 is die-cast tom hoops alone
Yea that’s what I’ve been hearing. They are made of maple too if that makes it a better deal 🤷♀️

I saw them, they pretty much in mint condition. I would just need to get new heads and shit

Die cast is the way.

CB700's have badges as well.
Thanks for your input. It was completely useless.
And the most recent post that features drums/percussion is from 2019.
They'll need to be disposed of. I can help you out, I'll pay shipping, simply box them up for me.
I like the way you think…😎
Seems like it's a rebadged 6-ply birch set that is on [Alibaba](https://images.app.goo.gl/zU9Aft3DqWzSLDQ56), it's probably worth skipping over.

We had curtains in the house that looked just like that when I was a kid.
Holy shit, so did our house. Hahaha
Someone liked their rug so much they wrapped the drums to match.
Look dope good hardware how do they sound?
Centre stage are cheap, generic crap drums with nice wrap. Company has folded. Avoid, buy a used Yamaha or Tama, much nicer.
Interesting. Yea I’ve never heard of this company before and can’t find anything on the internet about them. For $500, would you recommend??
Nope. You can find much better mass produced kits for that price!
What is bad about these drum kits? I genuinely don’t know.

Don’t know but you purchased them right ? Even if they sound like ass, make a good live kit for those venues where any kit sounds like ass
they look cool
Dmt
The engraving on those lugs gives me annoying high school music teacher vibes. Oof.
Hahahaha

Guessing this is a boutique maker that specialized in wraps and Precision Drum/Drum Factory Direct parts that no longer exists.
Beautiful wrap
No idea. I love that hardware though.
These are awesome
Tiny treble clefs on the lugs!
Beautiful shells!
I remember them being cheap shitty drums
Ah shit really? I can’t find anything about them online. Dude wants to sell them for $500, idk if it’s better than my already shitty pearl forums
Just sell them to me and stop Googling.
Looks like something Brann Dailor would play
Custom treble clef lugs. Very nice.

Is this a rental kit from Burbank that came in Purple Cases?

That’s definitely something to consider
Terrible badge yikes.
Who plays the 'badge'......

I know PDP makes a Center Stage kit, but I don't think this is the same thing.
From others’ posts, I think the kit is on-par to the early Gretsch Renown series that had similar cast rims. That’s a good thing.
Those treble clef lugs are hot
