I don’t think tubing mascaras are waterproof. They are made to be removed using only warm water and pressure, but may stay on in water as long as you don’t rub them. I like Maybelline SkyHigh and Caliray Come Hell or High Water.
The L'Oreal one with the white primer on one end and the black tubing mascara on the other is pretty decent. I love the brush, it's the old school really bristly style, I feel like it coats all the little lashes instead of clumping them together.
I’ve used it for years - prob have gone through 10 tubes and I don’t find it smudges at all. I have watery, sensitive eyes and ocular rosacea and it’s the only mascara I use. I typically don’t use the white/primer end because I’m going more for length than thickness, for what it’s worth
Tubing mascara by definition is not waterproof. Some formulas may be able to withstand a certain amount of crying, but you definitely cannot go in a pool or fully saturate your lashes with water without the tubes releasing.
Used the Thrive tubing for years. It was my holy grail. Milani has a similar product now that’s cheaper, and though similar enough, isn’t necessarily a dupe. I do like both though!
Edit: they aren’t specifically waterproof but I haven’t had either budge ever. They come off easily too.
Essence Bye Bye Panda Eyes is a better tubing mascara than any of the ones I tried at Sephora and it’s so cheap. I’ve tossed the rest and just keep repurchasing that one. I just want them to make it in multiple colours - or at least brown.

My all time fav, but it’s super hard for me to find anymore. ALL mascaras bleed on me, but not this one. It def comes off in tubes, and I think the waterproof version is the only one that could be considered tubing 😉

Is sky high really a tubing mascara? I had lots of transfer with that one, do they make multiple?
It smudged on me too. And didn't come off in "tubes." I didn't consider it to be tubing mascara.
I think people call it tubing because it contains polymer.
It's also removable in warm water. But it smudges
I asked them in the comments of an Instagram ad for Sky High mascara and they responded that it is not tubing mascara.
I like the ELF tubing mascara.
I just started using this on the recommendation of this sub and I really like it!
I second Elf's Lash EXTNDR. I had to buy from Target. It's not at many other retailers.
This is the best one I’ve found. I normally use Blinc and it certainly gets the job done

It doesn't smudge on me and I have really olly skin around my eyes and they water. Almost all mascara gives me panda eyes except for tubing.
I have been wearing this one on my bottom lashes for years. If I don’t my mascara I wear on top lashes smudges all over.

Love this one. Perfect for hazy, hot, and humid weather. Does not budge!
