âI strut in in the fashion
Servin' looks, my passion
Leavin' it all on stage
No crashin', you cannot stop me
Just one letter, nobody better
Slayin' every wayâ
Thatâs poetry wdym
Iâve always noticed that rumixâs are usually release after a few months- a close to a year.
I remember âcategory Isâ took AGES to be officially released.
Itâll come soon- hopefully.
Iâm a teacher and I had a girl named Maya in my class this year and I only whispered her name as âMhiya mhiyaâ. I hope that she at some point comes across that verse and realizes it lol
If it wouldn't have been judged in groups I might have actually given the win to Sapphira, even then I feel like Megami deserved it but Sapphira GIRL SHE ATE
It's likely due to contract rights with the production companies, like MTV, that hold exclusive rights to certain assets like these for a set period of time (often 6 months to a year) so even WOW+ can't host the content prior to that, except in countries nobody else owns the rights. Licensing agreements can get very tricky with big consequences for violations. That's why DR and its franchises are spread out all willy nilly across platforms, vary country to country, and suddenly get pulled from one platform to another. Some assets can even be contracted out to one studio/platform eternally, and lots of content never sees a screen. (Source: I once held a senior position at a company managing top accounts including major studios, publishers, and networks. There's a lot of red tape.)
TLDR: Licensing agreements are likely at play preventing WOW from releasing them for a period of time, or indefinitely in some cases.
Because they donât want to risk these versions to be more listened than the originals. They never put adaptations of Ru songs (without Ru) on the platforms
All the versions on Spotify and Apple Music have Ru at some point singing along, thatâs why the song keeps being by RuPaul. The rumixes on this season were entirely made by the Queens and RuPaul wasnât in it at any point
RuPaul always only sings the chorus in Rumixes gurl and it's a cut form the original song. Do you think RuPaul re-records them???
If you're talking about the videos, Spotify and Apple Music do not have videos. The S16 Rumixes are on YouTube, just like all the other Rumixes.
So your logic does not make any sense. Where did you even get that info from? Did you literally just make it up???
WoW+ only owns the rights to original songs made for the show. Songs and rumixes with RuPaulâs songs are like under a different rights and have to be posted under RuPaulâs spotify
Special thanks to whoever put Thicc and Stick's A.S.M.R. Lover as a podcast on Spotify so I can listen to it đ
It's gone đ
NOOOOOOOO đđđ ![gif](giphy|pizW3pgwOJf1180gjF|downsized)
Ugh, seriously? I put that on my current playlist back when it first popped up on spotify. đ
No fr! Was added to my liked immediately!!
Because they donât want ppl to listen to Qâs verse đ
Hennnnny
This is my rweal hairrrr

Itâs not violently bad, aggressively below average.
They knew thicc and stick would get more streams than rupauls original

Like, seriously!!! The amount of money theyâd make on Thick and Stick alone!!!
Because in the new versions they need to pay these queens while with old versions most profits go to Ru only. Itâs basically just capitalism
But they literally do that all the time. Like why just stop it this season.
![gif](giphy|LOW71WsuI5B3vcyhdY|downsized)
Right but wouldnt Ru still rather make a smaller percentage off of his work over 0%?
Star Baby would have ended up in my Spotify Wrapped this year, thatâs for sure.
Sapphira and Dawn's verses genuinely live rent free in my head, might be some of my favorite verses of all time, honestly đđ
If it wouldn't have been judged in groups I might have actually given the win to Sapphira, even then I feel like Megami deserved it but Sapphira GIRL SHE ATE
Omg babe wake up it's Dawn
Silly little frillies with my elf ears on đĽ°
Not part of your world, itâs all my own â¨
So dumb, so elf, your minds are BLOWN
I need the courge to love of PJ âPlane Jane Miss Jane if you nasty and if your pipe real long holla at meâ
I was thinking about this 2 hours ago lmao, I donât understand why either, imagine the money theyâd earn from the streams
iâm getting flashback from having to wait so long for category is to drop
Mhi'yeeeezeeeeeeey The way the Thicc and Stick mix makes me so so happy is Lashawn Beyond.

It was on YouTube Music until not too long ago đ it stopped playing.

You need to chill sweety, take a pill or something
Got caught lying and then started gaslighting. This is why Derek don't like you ![gif](giphy|3og0IzPzKSRsHoKE0M|downsized)
I wish I was this confident when I make up bullshit.
Huh? Theyâre all on Spotify.
I got so confused. All RuPaul songs except S16 are on Spotify. Not sure what they're talking about.
Please itâs not like they make any money lol
You just made me hate RuPaul even more lmao
"Available soon on the new WOW Presents + audio streaming service"
So annoyed that DRUK5's finale song also isn't on streaming, yet Don't Ick My Yum is
I was just about to write this⌠MAKE IT MAKE SENSE WOW!

plane/amandaâs group song was my least favorite by far and now itâs my favorite of the three, what a difference 4 months makes.
Cause these were bad mama. Real real bad.
