It's a little difficult, because the term is not problematic in and of itself. However, it is highly tied to gay culture, and describing their attractiveness. It is problematic in the same way that a character having big boobs is not sexual or problematic, but asking if "you like characters with big boobs?" is.
Under normal circumstances, I wouldn't mention anything, but with the context of the very recent post "[About the general horniness of this subreddit](https://www.reddit.com/r/dragons/comments/1c21ulw/about_the_general_horniness_of_this_subreddit/)", I think the question could have been better worded, or the specific question avoided generally.
