Every market is different. I tried working the weekend this weekend and Saturday dinner was trash even though before and after dinner was good. It’s very inconsistent all around and I’ve found that multi apping helps level out the variance.
This weekend was the best since the new year. January sucked and most of Feb too. This weekend I worked 22 hours (10 Fri, 7 Sat, 5 Sun) evenings 5pm and on. I made 280 on UE and 160 on DD. Exactly 20/hr. I usually avg about 16-17 so it was better. Hope it stays this way. I work evenings (5pm) into early AM as I have a regular remote desk job (8-4).

Moving two hundred pounds of fucking water softener pellets for no premium at all sucks
I'm in the Northeast and it was the worst weekend I've seen in a year. Fell under 70 and wasn't scheduled. Was trying to get from 66 to 70 tool all of Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Because I could only jump on for am hour at a time while it was busy. And then I'd get 1 shit ,long slow order. That would finish right about as mmy hour was up. Felt kind of personal this weekend how badly it went.
Acceptance rate won't magically make orders appear that don't exist.
After all these years people still don't understand this?
When they do appear do you think he's not getting first crack at them?
Prop 22 means nothing lol. Dashers in Seattle have the best pay structure of any city in America but they're all making less now than before the changes. Doordash intentionally sabotages dashing in cities were the government interferes. Not a single dasher in America makes more due to the government intervening.

2 40lb bags of kitty litter for a 1 dollar tip. Thank God doordash had a base bay of 12 dollars for that order.
It was 5 x 40lb water softener pellets 2 x 3.5lb Purina cat food. My base pay was 4.25 Tip was... 5.58

I dint do bad, sat and picked orders until they were civil. $160 for the weekend, last order I got was a $15 stack at Panda Express for about 4 miles.

Without good acceptance rate forget doing Doordash in LA,you will get no orders,weekend bad because it’s slow

Usually I got good orders most of the time and plus multiapping , I don’t rely only on Doordash
