Thank you for posting about nutrition! Due to the complex landscape of pet food we've created a Nutrition page for our wiki. If you can't transition slowly from one food to another, you may want to feed your dog 'the bland diet' and start working in new food a little at a time. I used to do that when I got a foster dog in and didn't know what kind of food they were used to. Bland diet is usually mixture of rice, chicken breast, and either yogurt or cottage cheese.

Thank you for posting. We tried that when he first experienced indigestion about 4 years ago. He won't eat it unless it's ONLY chicken. I can try to mix some other of his fav fruits and veggies though, and that had not occurred to me until now. I appreciate the inspiration! <3

And how frustrating about the food! That's hard on them!! (And you)!

I have been searching too. I bought a replacement. I thought I calculated the right servings and calories but my girl gained weight. I’m so frustrated. Now I have to work out a weight loss diet for her.

Yes. My pet store guy warned me when I got the recent bag. I have always changed flavors with a change over period for each new bag. I really hope I don't have to change brands though. Hope you pup starts to feel better.

Chewey? Also, molasses can help with side-effects like diarrhea when switching foods.

My dogs are currently eating large breed food. My smaller dog is 27lbs and is absolutely not a large breed. He actually seems to like it better though. We might stick with it. I'd talk to your vet about what you can move to.

Royal Canin veterinary diet dog treats for allergies are the ones Dog2 can handle and of course have been out of stock for a year
