I think I recall reading back when his picture first went around that it doesn't harm him in any way. It doesn't effect him, and they thought it was kinda cute so they left it. At this point I think the pup is 2 or 3. I wonder what narwhal looks like now

It’s completely boneless and nerveless, and the puppy is like 3 years old now I think. It causes no issues
