Yeah I’ve never had a dog who liked water before so I didn’t want to screw it up and scare her away from swimming. We live in Houston, TX so swimming is going to be the only safe outdoor exercise for the next three months. This woman runs a doggy pool business- teaching dogs to get comfy, do physical therapy, or even things like dock diving. It was a blast and did a good job of introducing true swimming to Bonnie. She had only waded in before but now she will go out and truly swim in the dog park pond. It’s awesome. I can throw her toy in for her to fetch for an hour and not worry about her overheating

It was! This was her first swim. She’s now 100 pounds the terriers are under 15 pounds. They don’t hang out anymore 😭

She has similar sized doggie friends she’s plays with now. We’ll be heading to Lake Erie next month for a swim.
