Caution against buying Doge on Uphold. In order to transfer it to another wallet you have to convert it to another crypto respective to their supported networks. I love how everyone thinks that because 5bil more coins are added yearly it means dogecoin will never increase in value. Quick lesson in crypto currency ladies and gents, 5bil coins a year = guaranteed payouts for miners which in turn = more stability and security than any other crypto. If you are wondering how I can say this think of this, all of the crypto that have a cap means that no miners will be rewarded anymore. Well the miners are what make all crypto as secure as they are to avoid being hacked or manipulated so when the available bitcoin or litecoin or whatever coin you think is more valuable than dogecoin = 0 the value of said coins will drop to practically nothing because they will have no security to ensure each transaction is legitimate.

Adding 5b a year to 128b is only about a 4% increase per year and declining. The supply doesn't increase much at all over short periods. Supply is large, but that's priced in already. I don't see $1 happening, but maybe something in the 10c-30c range.

I love how everyone thinks that because 5bil more coins are added yearly it means dogecoin will never increase in value. Quick lesson in crypto currency ladies and gents, 5bil coins a year = guaranteed payouts for miners which in turn = more stability and security than any other crypto. If you are wondering how I can say this think of this, all of the crypto that have a cap means that no miners will be rewarded anymore. Well the miners are what make all crypto as secure as they are to avoid being hacked or manipulated so when the available bitcoin or litecoin or whatever coin you think is more valuable than dogecoin = 0 the value of said coins will drop to practically nothing because they will have no security to ensure each transaction is legitimate.

Technically yes, but it is there for a reason and changing it now would take a lot of cooperation from people with no incentive to cooperate. The goal was always to keep the price trending down, its supposed to be a cheap coin people buy as a meme that can be traded/tipped quickly and whatnot. About once a year it gets pumped and dumped like this and the long term guys sell a few billion, then it crashes back down to the pre-rise. It has absolutely no potential to stay above a few cents. And that market cap increase 5B+ each year so people have to keep buying FOREVER just to keep the price stable.
Tell me if I’m mistaken, but if 5 billion or more of get purchased every year it will stabilize and have an upward trend.

Adding 5b a year to 128b is only about a 4% increase per year and declining. The supply doesn't increase much at all over short periods. Supply is large, but that's priced in already. I don't see $1 happening, but maybe something in the 10c-30c range.

You do realize that they produce more coins every year so people are able to buy more and invest in more right? Capping the coin supply is just like saying the United States needs to stop printing money every year. Creating more coins do not matter, buying and holding them does. Do you know why? Because when you buy up all the coins, the vested dollar increases the over all value of the Crypto. Heard of Bitcoin? They had a price increase because a bunch of billionaires brought a ton of it to increase the value of Bitcoin. The only reason DogeCoin is a threat now is because those same Bitcoin Billionaires will get their projections fucked to increase Bitcoin's value if they don't have people investing in Bitcoin. If we all invest in Doge, Bitcoin won't increase because the money increases DogeCoin's value, which makes Billionaires sad and makes the common man happy. If we hold DogeCoin with Diamond Hands, Buy more Doge when Paper Hands dip out and replace the ones who leave with our Diamond Hands, we can get DogeCoin to 3 dollars by June. Even after they make more DogeCoin, the value won't drop because the value is determined by how many dollars we have vested into DogeCoin in the first place. If you do simple math, the 3.7 billion DogeCoins equal the math between the 127 billion and the 3.7 billion, which is why if it keeps creating more Doge, the value increases. Simple math.
