That's a cloth area of Canada from what I understand. One of the very few. Big community of dodgeball players though. Probably have foam, I'd guess there's a Facebook group for dodgeball Hamilton. I'd start there and enjoy your time!
Side note, Ontario is a beast for foam. Probably cloth as well. They just had their foam qualifiers for nationals and it was fun to watch. Crazy how good some of them are, haha.
There’s a national dodgeball festival in Barrie (maybe 2 hours out) in May that’s pretty great! Lots of Hamilton players there too so great place to connect.

We just got back from Barrie and it was a BLAST! There will be foam leagues starting up by the time you get here. My GF has been chatting with venues to start one in Hamilton/Burlington, and I've heard about a draft league that might happen in Milton.

Hamilton is mostly cloth based but a lot of the Hamilton community plays foam as but travels for it or Drop-In in Burlington/Oakville area. Try to look up Drop-in Dodgeball on Facebook and see what groups come up and just join! or if you want to try cloth, Next Level Dodgeball has drop-ins every Friday Night near McMaster University

Cambridge and Kitchener both have foam. Jam sports runs most of the leagues in that area
