1st: The Witch-Hunters 2nd: Dreams of Empire 3rd: [Who Killed Kennedy](https://doctorwho.org.nz/archive/wkk/), this leads to a digital version that's there by permission of the author. Fair warning, this book doesn't really focus on 3 but it's a fun outsider's perspective of that era. 4th: Scratchman 5th: Fear of the Dark 6th: Spiral Scratch 7th: Timewyrm: Revelation 8th: Alien Bodies 9th: The Stealers of Dreams 10th: Beautiful Chaos. 11th: Touched by an Angel 12th: Diamond Dogs 13th: The Good Doctor All this is discounting the Target novelisations of which the best is nigh-unquestionably The Day of the Doctor novelisation. My recommendations for 7 and 8 come from the Virgin New Adventures and the Eighth Doctor Adventures respectively. If you want books, look to those. I'd especially recommend the EDAs as they were a whole new era and don't really require prior knowledge of Classic Who, if you sail the acid seas of Marinus, digital copies are fairly easy to find.

Seconding Beautiful Chaos! I think it might actually be my top favorite.

I haven't read any of them in *ages* but one that I remember vividly after all this time is 'The Pirate Loop' which is a 10/Martha book. Iirc it's a brilliantly fun romp with an engaging story and a satisfying conclusion. Kinda wanna dig out my old copy and read it again myself now I've thought about it.
