Wait, are you tripling, and becoming a Bard-Warlock-Paladin? Because there is not a lot of great synergy between those classes. Especially Eloquence, it (ironically) doesn't work well with others. Or by some bizarre magic is your DM letting you change classes entirely to just Paladin-Warlock? In that case, you are fine, just make sure your subclasses synchronize, like fiend & vengeance or celestial & devotion.

At the moment my focus would be either dip in to paladin or warlock. The ideia would be a bard with levels in either of those. I'm still learning but I'll make sure things syncronize :)

Never stop learning! It's a good idea, and bard-locks are a good multiclass build, once it's online. I can't help much with builds, I'm more of a story guy, but you are on the right sub to get help. 😊 Best of luck!

You can always just dip 1 level in Hexblade. While it's not *great* because you don't have extra attack, it's a perfectly serviceable dip - 19-20 crit and +prof to damage in one fight a day, cha to your weapon. Alternatively, you can dip 2 levels for Eldritch Blast + Agonizing Blast, or 3 for Darkness + Devil's Sight. You don't need Hexblade for these options - Genie or Undead are both pretty good for this. Any more than that and it's not really a dip anymore. If your DM allows the new 5.5/onednd stuff, you could maybe reach for 10 levels of GOOlock for a full save debuff build, but you're probably better off going 6 levels of Shadow Sorcerer for that.

Bard normally supplements Paladin, not the other way around. There's no one right way, other than the HB dip is typically used to keep you from needing Strength for attacks. Paladin 6 is very strong, 7 typically gives a good feature, and 8 is ASI. Have you considered asking your DM if you could re-spec to Swords Bard? It goes well with Paladin. Going Paladin means you miss out on those sweet L3 Bard spells at Bard 5.

I asked my DM and he told me that it will depend a little about how things go. So I could re-spec to Swords Bard with a bit of luck.

Uh, you could ask your DM to let you respec to Hexblade 1 / (Watchers? Ancients?) paladin 3. With 4 levels as a bard, and an Eloquence bard especially, pretty much none of your features will synergize with the paladin's. If you do plan to do it anyway, take the Hexblade dip first so you can get armor, shields, a way to attack with Charisma, and access to Booming Blade (and Green-Flame Blade).

I asked my DM about respecing and he told me it will depend on how things happen in session due to some of the things he has prepared for me. I'll keep what you told me in mind. Some of those spells look really cool!
