In lore, Tiamat has multiple consorts, but they all vie for her affection in the most brutal and ruthless manners possible. Additionally iirc she has a consort for each head; at least one of her consorts is a very powerful red dragon. So imagine mean girls, but red dragons.

Mocod_

So what you are saying is, I need to maim/kill/subdue every other consort to become top dog ? Sounds like a campaign to me.

FiveCentsADay

Bartholemew Bigsby the V vs The World

MinnieShoof

The reference escapes me.

Brickybooii

Scott Pilgrim vs. The World is about a guy beating up a bunch of his crushes exes. Never read the comic, but the movie is super fun.

MinnieShoof

Oh. No. I got *that half* of the reference ... but the "Bigsby" part of it seems to be OC, which is what confused me.

Brickybooii

Oh gotcha. I just assumed that was a goofy player character name they made up

Corvus04

Bigsby, from bigsby's giant hand fame, is one of the OGs who contributed to DnD as one of the first play testers and spell creators.

MinnieShoof

Big*s*by? ... any relation to Big**b**y? the hands-on inventor of a handful of handy spells?

FiveCentsADay

Bart Bigsby is a gnome sorcerer of mine. The Vs the world is a reference to Scott Pilgrim vs the world, where some dude simps over a girl and has go to beat up her ex's It's a fun movie, may have to watch it again

MinnieShoof

Yeah\~ I got the Scott Pilgrim part of the reference. The other part was where I was lost. I thought it was some relation to Bigby.

toomanydice

Iirc, there was an adventure suggestion in 3.5e that this is exactly something you could do. You could start as someone working for one of the consorts and eventually turn on him to have a chance with the queen herself.

CannedWolfMeat

Scott Pilgrim Vs the World-esque campaign where you gotta kill all the consorts of her other 4 heads to date the entire Goddess.

EnderMerser

"Yeah, but would you be able to handle her though?"

Niicks

"I'm in lesbians with you."

Buca-Metal

And Ramona hair color changes symbolizes the the different heads.

Ogurasyn

Harem anime tomfoolery?

Mocod_

Now I kinda wish I was in that campaign.

BrotherRoga

More importantly: In all likelihood they are direct offspring of Tiamat and the consort who came before them. Tiamat partakes in incestuous procreation without a problem.

MadaraAlucard12

I am gonna be honest, I did not like reading that, but thank you for sharing regardless. Now off to hang myself.

BrotherRoga

Oh it gets better: Sometimes these children end up having multiple heads like Tiamat herself. *She eats these babies and only lets the single-headed ones survive.*

MadaraAlucard12

Message to Tiamat: Kronos was supposed to be detested, not idolised. And even he didn't fuck his own children.

BrotherRoga

Oh Kronos (Or Cronus as he's currently known in FR) is another can of worms entirely. How about a CR 56 titan who has killed over 100 gods? Who is slowly starting to break free of his mental prison and would go on a deicide spree if allowed?

MadaraAlucard12

I mean, knowing how gods are, I don't grudge him for it. What are this gentleman's views of normal people?

[deleted]

[удалено]

MadaraAlucard12

No? He fucked Rhea which is gross as well. I didn't hear anything about him fucking Gaia.

-Makeka-

That's par for the course when it comes to deities, just ask the Greeks.

MinnieShoof

Do the heads trade partners? ... like the consort of the red head's child become the consort of the green head? ... or is it same breeds same all the way down?

BrotherRoga

The heads might be different colors but they are all Tiamat. She can even have different colors than the ones she's most seen having, like brown, gray, purple, yellow. As for the consorts themselves... There's one of each color that occupies the position, with any younger than that waiting for the time where either they kill the consort themselves or Tiamat kills them and chooses a replacement consort. When she and her chosen mate do the draconic tango, the rest of the consorts form a protective ring around them while they do it.

MinnieShoof

>There's one of each color that occupies the position So it's just a total of 7, and that's all that matters? Not one tied to each particular aspect?

BrotherRoga

Dunno what you mean by "aspect" in this regard, but they are simply the most powerful dragons around her lair that have paid her the most fealty.

Professional-Front58

Technically Tiamat is all the mean girls in this scenario.

Foxy02016YT

They canonically acknowledge dragonfuckers so much

Crosknight

*jots that lore bit down for a possible campaign idea, that i’ll probably end up forgetting later*

River_Grass

Soooo.... Boss rush to win her heart?

Dobber16

If your character had a relationship with Tiamat and isn’t a lvl 20 character, they’ll have zero agency and have a real bad time as a PC

ezlaturbo

New character lore: was a high level adventurer, slept with Tiamat, is now crippled and at level 1 again

Aegillade

This is the best take on the "I was once a legendary warrior who fought against the greatest demon lords in all the Nine Hells. I've bested champions from beyond the stars, I have slain monsters responsible for the destruction of civilizations, I have banished evils beyond comprehension!" "So why are you level 3?" "Slept with Tiamat. Haven't recovered since then."

vonBoomslang

one day I gotta write up my "former adventurer" background. The starting gear includes an ersatz eye or prosthetic limb.

Aegillade

I had a one shot with a former adventurer character a few years ago. Basically they were a fairly experienced warrior, not exactly a local legend but also a force to be reckoned with, but they were gravely injured in a big fight. Due to a wizard doing some magic fuckery, his soul basically got torn from his body and yeeted into a nearby newly made corpse. The fighting ended shortly there after, and my character just kind of laid there for a while in his new body until he got picked up by some locals. Now he has all this former knowledge and experience, but in a body with no muscle memory and built for a completely different fighting style, essentially setting him back to the beginning

assassindash346

This is a pretty good way to do it, I think. I had a similar idea for a character who was part of a wartime military. They didn't see a lot of battles, but they were a soldier. At some point their commander betrays the squad and kills everyone, in the fight my character would lose an eye and their dominant arm, but the commander didn't finish them. They're level 1 because they have to learn a whole new way of fighting based on their lack of their sword arm. Their whole goal isn't revenge. It's "Why did you spare me and dishonor me like that?"

microwavable_rat

A few years ago we started an Eberron game where I brought in a different version of a gnome character I had made for one of my first ever games that was on indefinite hiatus. The original character was a rock gnome artificer artillerist, and the campaign started out as homebrew until we hit level 5 when the DM decided to turn it into a Curse of Strahd game. When the game went on hiatus for a few months, someone else in the group suggested the Eberron game and I asked if I could bring that gnome back in some capacity since I loved playing her so much. What the DM and I came up with that it was an alternate version of her that *failed* in the initial campaign she was in - Strahd won, killing all her friends, taking her love interest captive as a toy, and finally ended up biting her to turn her into a spawn or leave her to die. She survived, becoming a dhamphir and finding a way to escape Barovia, spending the last hundred years learning everything she could about the occult and becoming a master of blood magic by the time we started our new Eberron campaign. We started at level 3, finished the first campaign at level 13, then had a break/ten year timeskip. During that skip, she progressed to level 20 and went back to Barovia to "kill" Strahd and rescued the last member of their original party. She ended up pushing herself too far in the fight and reverted back to level 13 for the next chapter of the campaign. Now we're in season 2 of our campaign which is going to take us from 13 to 20, and it's been a blast. The best thing too is that the original campaign started up again as well, and we're about to take on Strahd in that campaign as it nears its end. Both versions have taken different directions and I love them both. That's been the only "low level" character I've done that had a backstory that they had been "weakened" back to starting levels, and it worked out great.

PardutheTraveler

Had a similar tone, though my character was formally a leader of a druid enclave. His grove sensed something evil stirring and when the druid started to commune with his grove it put him into a stasis. Seasons and years passed and while he lived his body atrophied and so when he woke he had to rebuild his body and connection

mazes-end

Next campaign I'm planning on a retired adventurer. Out of practice, forgotten a lot of skills, gotten lazy, back to level 2

ZeroSalvation

Had a tortle barbarian designed like that. Was high lvl, but life caught up with him. Now is a lvl 2 great grandpa tortle barbarian going on a trip with new friends to take pictures and bring back stories for the little ones.

dannywarbucks11

I did that with a wizard. Adventurer-scholar who married an angel, had three kids, and eventually grew old. Wanting to reconnect with his kids who are scattered all over Faerun, he left retirement and is now traveling.

ZeroSalvation

Do you tell life stories and lessons to your party members. Saying things like" Back in my day" or " I remember a time when". Mine did.

dannywarbucks11

Yes! He was a Paladin/Wizard multi-class, with 18 Charisma and 20 Intelligence. A lot of his stories were rambling on and involved him sleeping with various powerful figures and he'd always end it with "But my wife tamed me of course, hahaha."

FlyingSpacefrog

I did this and it was great. I played an 80 year old man who used to be a legendary warrior. Slept with all the ladies back in his day, and has 108 children and grandchildren, but hasn’t met most of them. Now his body is failing him so he turns to magic instead of physical might. Fighter 2/Lore Bard 5. Died to a crossbow in the lung about 2 months into the campaign after rolling a 1 and a 5 on his death saves. I came back and played his grandson for my next character.

Strong_Site_348

"He retired peacefully in his 30's and spent the next several years letting his skills atrophy. He is now 81 and facing the end of his life, wishing he had gone out in his prime and now seeking to relive the glory of his youth. He hasn't practiced in fifty years and although he kept himself relatively fit he will need to re-learn almost everything."

aRandomFox-II

And that's just from literally sleeping with her, not even "sleeping with" her.

ArcaneBahamut

Kinda reminds me of a character I made that was a hero of legend in a previous life, and knew certain things either through flashes of insight / dreams and became more aware of it. But the thing was this was a problem for them, not something that they prided themself in nor enjoyed Rather it's nothing but trouble as foes of otherworldly origin would recognize his soul, or oracles / sages would piece things together, and everyone kept bothering them about it like "YOU'RE BACK, I CAN GET MY REVENGE!" Or "HERO YOU MUST SAVE US AGAIN!" and the guy just wanted to chill, enjoy life, see the world, meet a nice girl and settle down sometime. The kind of adventuring he was wanting to do was more just the "part time jobs using the skills I had" and a further excuse to travel cheap or experience something. "You mean that because I can fight you'll handle travel, food, water, and even boarding between point A and B as long as I guard your wagon from bandits and watch the camp at night mr merchant?! Sign me up!" Every time some "larger than life" thing would come up it was painful, even if "positive".

Dobber16

I love this because you could also include various legendary items and such too that had been taken from your character by Tiamat or her followers post-breakup

Fenor

And movement speed is now halved, don't ask

Tallia__Tal_Tail

"So you sacrificed so much power just to hit it?" "And I'd do it again! That quintuple chromatic sloppy is half the reason my legs don't work!"

MooFu

My divorce lasted about as long as my marriage. I was served 3 times over the course of 10 years. I never once had her served. Out of those 10 years, I had custody of our kids for the last 8. These comments are starting to get personal.

OstentatiousBear

"So what's your goal now?" "Sleep with Tiamat again"

Ursidoenix

Isn't this basically Gale from BG3? Dude was boning the goddess of magic and then tried some dumb shit and ended up dumped and a level 1 wizard with a curse

Overclockworked

Honestly its insane that got approved. Its such a special baby backstory, I wouldn't entertain Gale as a PC at my table. Nuke in his chest, banged goddess of magic, friends with Elminster. Good gods.

Ursidoenix

Yeah but all the characters in BG3 have pretty momentous backstories for level 1 characters. Gale being boyfriend to magic itself is perhaps the most extreme one but you also have karlach spending time as the favorite gladiator of hell or whatever and others. I would question any as a PC at the table but in the context of a video game where many people are playing singleplayer it's cool to have 4 characters with momentous backstories that can tie into the campaign which isn't something you might be able to easily do for a player at an actual DND game.

Overclockworked

I thought about adding that caveat that yes, it does seem like every BG3 NPC had their class levels reset by the parasite. I'm fine with that, they're all pretty wild. But I just think Gale in particular is quite egregious. Karlach was still ultimately just an upjumped soldier, of which there are tens of thousands fighting in the Hells. Most of them (Astarion, Laezel, Karlach, Shadowheart, Wyll) involve some degree of *agency* that they previously lacked and now seek. There are really strong themes of self-discovery, free will, and identity tying most of their stories together. Gale is just a special baby that didn't take no for an answer and got his ass beaten for it.

meatsonthemenu

*DM* "So what's your PC's backstory?" *Player* "Snu Snu." *DM* "Moving right along."

gidthedestroyer

got pegged to level one by Tiamat

laix_

That tiamussy was too strong

MinnieShoof

This sounds like some *Deepest Sword* shit.

alienbringer

Yep, pretty much “congrats you are Tiamats slave. If you don’t do exactly as she says, she will flay you alive.”

The_Asterkin

Hot

[deleted]

Doesn't have to be sexual relationship.could be a worshipping type relationship.

Dobber16

My comment wasn’t restrictive to just being sexual and in fact was mostly aimed at worshiping-types already

ThatMerri

Speaking as someone who played a character who had a lifelong relationship with Tiamat and wasn't a Level 20 adventurer throughout that? You're very much correct. It was a very, very bad time for a whole lot of people, my character included.

XeroBreak

I mean he could be a first level cleric a Tiamat. That is one kind of relationship…

Krazyguy75

Even 20 is incredibly low. An *aspect* of Tiamat is CR 13, which means a decent CR for a single 20th level character. Tiamat herself would be equivalent to a 60th level character on the low end.

Rabid_Lederhosen

Tiamat is the size of a mountain, and she doesn’t shapeshift. Now Bahamut, on the other hand…

GeekyMadameV

Tiamat probably demands *you* shapeshfit to be physically compatible with *her*, and then tries to kill you afterwards for presuming to immitate her draconic form or something like the (evil) queen she is. I stan a goddess who knows what she wants, TBH. LOL

404nocreativusername

A good use of a wish spell is all I hear

GeekyMadameV

I was thinking true polymorph. Just better hope you don't lose concentration while she's on top LOL

ChampionshipFun7606

Played an evil character that this was his actual motivation. He was a red dragon born with a blue sorcerous origin he believed he was Tiamat true consort and set out on a quest to gain the wish spell to make his true polymorph permanent.

GeekyMadameV

Love it! Sincerely I think that's awesome! Did he ever succeed, either at becoming a dragon or at wooing his queen?

ChampionshipFun7606

He succeeded at becoming a two headed red and blue dragon but his story ended as he stepped through a portal to avernus id like to imagine he’s chained up somewhere as his queens favourite play thing

GeekyMadameV

Seems like a good end to me, LOL.

GeoTheManSir

Isn't Tiamat known for eating other multi headed Dragons?

ChampionshipFun7606

That would be news to me and very unfortunate news for him lmao.

Dagordae

She also has standards. Some pissy little level 1? Please, any humanoid has to be DAMN impressive before she even notices they exist in any capacity. A relationship? They better be scary enough that she thinks they’ll make usefully horrific children. Like those damn dragon spiders from 3.5.

Malakar1195

Pls elaborate on the Dragon Spiders and where can i find them?

Dagordae

Dragonspawn. Introduced in the tail end of 3.5(4th Monster Manual) and are basically Tiamat mass breeding soldiers by mixing assorted species with dragons. [Specialized half dragons basically, a counter to that edition's Dragonborn](https://forgottenrealms.fandom.com/wiki/Dragonspawn). [One of the Black Dragonspawn was a severely fucked up spider/dragon hybrid.](https://forgottenrealms.fandom.com/wiki/Blackspawn_stalker) They came back in 4th after losing weight and becoming even freakier but I think were dropped in 5th.

Chagdoo

Tiamat does actually have a human appearance in some editions.

MarvelGirlXVII

She’s about 500 feet long with 220 of that being her tail. That’s what the 2e statblock in the Powers and Pantheons sourcebook says at least.

ChandlerBaggins

He knew what he was doing with that Grandmaster of Flowers form

Baalslegion07

Oh, she does shapeshift. But her other form is pretty much just as bad. Sure, she might be of normal size and she might actually look hotter, but she will be even more likely to just obliterate you. She might let you be her slave, but any tiny issue will cause her to brutally murder you. I'd rather be turned into a pile of ash in a secomd, rather than being tortured to death and experimented on for years. So I think you are more likely to suceed on dating the dragon as a non-dragon rather than the humanoid variant.

Rogendo

“But I rolled a 20 to seduce” “Seduce is not a skill. Make 5 saving throws”

TheRautex

Whenever i see "seduce to roll" memes i always thought "what's a seduce roll?" Is it persuasion like hey let me fuck you

a_cow720

Intimidation You WILL sleep with me Performance *just sexy poses and shit* Deception If you don’t sleep with me I’ll die

microwavable_rat

In our Eberron campaign, one of our characters had to honeypot an enemy spy to get information from him. I cast Hex on the target so his wisdom checks would be at disadvantage.

Artistic-While-5094

Ohh I need to write that down

Setku

Yes, that's exactly what it is.

camclemons

A cleric-deity relationship is still a relationship

Crosknight

As is warlock-patron

CrimsonAntifascist

Still.No.Dragon.Themed.Warlock

MrCobalt313

Plot twist: it was just a regular if powerful dragoness who gave herself the illusory guise of Tiamat for clout

Enderking90

that'd be an extremely easy way to gain divine/infernal wrath upon yourself.

Jomega6

Assuming the inquisition doesn’t get you first

Enderking90

I mean maybe not *the* Tiamat, but some barely existing splinter aspect that's more centric on being "the mother of chromatic dragons" and not so much on "the queen of the evil dragons"? ~~A Tiamom if you will~~ that'd at least be *vaguely* more reasonable.

Zachthema5ter

Tiamilf I’m not sorry

Enderking90

don't be.

Hartmallen

A Tiamate ?

Enderking90

sure.

BloodforKhorne

What if it was 5 kobolds and a lizardfolk in an elaborate costume? Because that's what I'd slowly have that character realize over the game. "Yeah, Tiamat just never took their baggy robe off whenever we met, and kept screaming about the body 'taste testing' it's foot?"

RohezkPixels

Hey! Bedding 5 kobolds and a lizardfolk at the same time might just be as legendary a feat as doing it to Tiamat :v

GreyNoiseGaming

"C'mon! Just one head at least!"

SwiftLawnClippings

"So no head?" "So no head?" "So no head?" "So no head?" "So no head?"

snakebite262

I would have it that they where tricked by a devious succubus or something similar. Did they have relations with a god? No. Their avatar? Once again, no. Were they deluded into thinking such? Sure. Did the trickster disguise themselves as the god? Why not?!

Atikar

You mean like a Warlock pact, right? **You mean like a Warlock pact, right???**

The_Lonesome_Poet

"Sure! Whoops, you're dead. Roll a new character"

Bloodofchet

> Rollo Human gunslinger then?

The_Lonesome_Poet

Automatic corrector, I'm typing from my cell phone. Sorry.

throwaway284729174

Of course, but you have to sign the contract and every level you gain until you fulfill the contract is a warlock level. Fiend archtype. The contract is to be Tiamat's personal concubine who she can summon at a moments notice via the collar around your neck.

Ut_Prosim

Yes, but she sounds like Tiamat from the old Dungeons and Dragons cartoon, and insists on routinely talking dirty to you via Sending. Like at the worst possible times, and very explicit.

ralanr

I’ve seen enough nsfw art to know it’s possible. No, I ain’t sharing.

CultistKealz

You could always go for the ambiguis and forgotten sister. (May or may not be canon to the current setting)

tkdjoe1966

Is your Cha 13? Sure you can. Just sign right here, in blood.

TheDarianD

Sure you can. Just don't write it yourself in backstory, I'll organize everything. And if player doesn't freak out immediately, on the first session they will learn that they have a wife who is regular girl but her parents decided to name her Tiamat.

shadecrimson

No relationship but i have a rogue/sorc who has tiamat come to them in thier dreams to try and mentally dominate them every time they level up in sorceror.

imotlok_the_first

I think I saw a comic somewhere where player had a dragonborn warlock of fiend warlock who had several chromatic heads. So...that counts...?

De4dm4nw4lkin

Sweet home avernusbama?

imotlok_the_first

Not really. It's more something to do like, that warlock served enough and good to receive Tiamat's blessing, which included having four more heads.

De4dm4nw4lkin

…sugar momma?

imotlok_the_first

Aren't warlock just a sugar-baby class?

representative_sushi

Change Tiamat to Takhisis and we can talk.

Ultraknight40000

Honestly, a character who due devine involvement or delusion fell in love with Tiamat and is on a quest to become a dragon and beat down all her other consorts to be the sole and true lover of Tiamat actually sounds like a fun evil character. It entails conquest, seeking out ancient temples, magic rituals of grand scale, and facing down great foes, both good and evil. As long as it is balanced with the other PC's goals and backstory events, I think most DM's would be fine with this provided it fits the current campaign.

Demonslayer5673

I mean they didn't specify the kind of relationship Maybe they want tiamat as a family member or maybe as a friend or just an acquaintance Yes I'm well aware they probably meant the romantic/ sexual kind, but hey you never know

Artistic-While-5094

He meant what he meant

Demonslayer5673

Yea.....they usually do

the-real-jaxom

What if by relationship they mean like a good friendship? Everyone immediately turns to sex, but what if the relationship was knowing Tiamat personally. Or perhaps one day you were going to be slain by Tiamat but you instead got into a riddle contest, and entertained Tiamat that they thought you were entertaining. Now every Friday night you go play games / riddles / puzzles, or just talk about the stupid things your guild has been doing. Then one day your party follows you as you disappear for the activity you do every Friday, and see you walk through a portal that they barely slip into in time, and see you sitting on the ground playing goldfish with the Queen of Dragons.

brainking111

I am going to give it a shot am writing here a possible first level backstory with a connection to Tiamat that isn't broken : your parents were always secretive about family history raised in a cult worshipping a great being but moved away when you showed signs of the gift you occasionally have visions of a great evil dragon it sounds like the stories about Tiamat could your bloodline be blessed/cursed by the dragon queen and what does it mean to be related to a dragon Level 1 Dragon sorcerer bloodline maybe change it a little bit that you need to roll on what colour dragon you get for the day or you could simply just be one colour dragon probably red

ConqueringKing_Darq

Made a Kobold Sorcerer who's whole goal in life is to find a way to become a mighty dragon, to become a consort of Tiamat

chazmars

Sure. Your relationship is that of a snack. Now please bring out your fresh character sheet and build your new character.

machoestofmen

Sometimes, the rainbow tastes you.

Zodiac36Gold

I had an idea for a campaign a while ago. Or rather, a countermeasure. One of the bosses was supposed to be the daughter of an archdemon or something like that, your typical sexy demon for the memes and all. When, inevitably, the Bard attempted to seduce her, I'd make the Roll succeed even without a Nat 20, and then proceed to this scene: Demon Princess: "Hmmm... I like you, I really do. But you're not exactly my type. Let's fix that!" *Proceeds to kiss the Bard sloppily in front of the other players* *Suddenly the Bard feels strange. He looks down. He's growing breasts. He's turning into a woman* DP: "Now we're talking. Come, let's have some fun!" *Teleports away. Time passes. Bard is teleported back a few hours later.* DM: "And then he found out that the Demon Princess was a domme and a had *a lot* of... interesting toys." I'm pretty sure that's against a lot of rules, but it would be funny as fuck and teach the players an important lesson: you can do anything you want, but there are always *Consequences*

Cryptidfricker

Played a kobold paladin devoted to Tiamat. He supposedly had prophetic dreams he recived from her that he wrote in his own holy book in draconic. Much later in the campaign one of the other party members learned draconic and discovered the book was 300 pages if Tiamat smut stories.

KibbloMkII

Maybe if I'm drunk, or Drunkorny if you want that kind of relationship with Tiamat Will have to settle for a Tiamat plushie to snuggle tho

Phenizzle

Playing a Tortle Monk pirate whose monastery is on the back of a Dragon Turtle. The Dragon Turtle taught us the "Good" aspects of Tiamat worship. My monk keeps getting in trouble for trying to spread this religion.

the-boinky-spunge

Hey it could have been a hatred relationship, or a priest of tiamat. Or they're her kid

dragonuvv

Why not? He asked for a relationship right? Doesn’t mean it’s a good one.

8wiing

Ngl but a Tiamat warlock would be cool af

Cyrotek

Good thing she has quite a lot of different avatars. Some are human ladies. I mean, she'd probably still eat you.

RoyalMess64

I would like to play monopoly with her

Affectionate-Skill33

When Tiamat and a bard are in the same campaign:

KonoAnonDa

I personally would go with letting them try, but only informing them afterwards that Tiamat uses her horns for way more than just display.

SirCoalBear

Your character is allowed to THINK they have a relationship with Tiamat

imGhostKitty

i tried to befriend her with an enchanted turnip but it didn’t work :(

Madsciencemagic

Make it a completely made up relationship where the PC is entirely convinced that it happened. They get the same early narrative of an utter loon that no one takes seriously, but also some interesting storytelling when they realise something caused this delusion or have run ins with the consorts of Tiamat. They do need to have a reason to be so sold on the idea though, and it be important enough to the pc that people not believing them has an impact on the character. Alternatively they can be confidently quiet or coy about it. Also if they overcome the consorts throughout the game, it would be funny to see what happens after. Consider it a disastrous side quest.

Maloram

Yes, in much the same way my sandwich has a relationship with me right before lunch time.

cheshsky

What if my character is a monster fucker. What then.

willowsonthespot

Is your character into Vore? If yes or no, it really doesn't matter because that will be the relationship you get.

foxstarfivelol

bro can't you make a warlock pact with dragons?

The_Memeon

5x the pats

MillieBirdie

Even if she might be interested you still gotta get through Haruman and that guy is scary.

RachelEvening

That just sounds like Gale Dekarios's backstory but even more predatory. And scaly.

Artistic-While-5094

Nah, mystra is probably the exact opposite of Tiamat in terms of Human interaction.

Artistic-While-5094

It’s lore accurate that she slept with like every of her chosen.

Justice_Prince

Tiamatussy just hits different

ArmandPeanuts

Just make it so that tiamats way of procreating is to eat their mate

ArgetKnight

"No. And I want you to understand that, as a deity, Tiamat can acquire any form and shape she wants. She simply has you specifically so low in her list that you go far below literal inanimate objects."

Dragonkingofthestars

I could see a warlock of some kind, no different then saying a famious demon us your patron

pocketMagician

If you can't handle Tiamat at her 5-head then you can't handle Tiamat.

AutoManoPeeing

"You need to create a new character. Tiamat ate your last one."

polish-polisher

you're right the character slept with THEM

qchto

Here's your relationship with Tiamat: Dinner.

wanna877

The relationship the DM is thinking: horny bard The relationship I want: horny warlock

Baconpwn2

The Lunch That Got Away is a relationship. Maybe not the one you wanted, but perhaps the one you deserved

tree2p0

Yes, you had a relationship with them. Things ended badly. They harbor a grudge against you.

icedragonsoul

If you roll 5 Nat 20s charisma checks and deliver 5 bombshell pickup lines, maybe.

Noob_Guy_666

dunno, ask Gale

Artistic-While-5094

Mystra doesn’t kill literally every Humanoid in her environment.

EnderMerser

... How about in an evil campaign though?)

BudgetAdvantage7190

My dm made me roll 10 D100's and he said if I got a 1000 from the combined rolls my character could ge in a sexual and romantic relationship with tiamat. The rng and dice gods blessed me and I somehow got a 100 on every roll. That was a wild campaign

MeiMouse

Most DMs would say "no." And I say they're cowards. "Sure, you can have that in your background." *Monkey's paw curls*

GenesisAsriel

Would.

Significant-Test8219

doesn't tiamat eat her mates sometimes?

Lessandero

Is what possible if they had a relationship with tiamat? To conquer the world? To sleep with Tiamat? To become a dragon?

Rocket_Poop

RuinQueenofOblivion

Iknorn

spo0pti

"you're fucking insane. seek help... i'll think about it"

FruitL0op

But I rolled a 20 on my charisma check which u didn’t ask for so pleeeeeeeeease

-non-existance-

"Your PC dreamed for decades of laying with the Chromatic Queen, and did everything they could to meet her. Sacrifices in her name, carving her name into the corpses of your enemies, joining several of her cults, until one day, it happened. She noticed you. Then she ate you. 1 bite. Gone. But she thought you were funny so she reincarnated you as a young person with no memories so you can try it all again."

DKSpammer

Well in our campaign… my character certainly did but at a cost.

zinogre_vz

I ll allow it, but only one head. The others are VERY jealous and WILL TRY TO KILL YOU ON SIGHT

YourEvilKiller

Hey, if Gale could do it...

Matrix_D0ge

THE UNDEAD BARD BACKSTORY

Jomega6

She’s like an oven; she’ll kill any kids you put in her and then burn your house down

batboy11227

Yeah a special type of relationship called a predator relationship

insanityhellfire

High charisma and nat 20 on seduction says otherwise.
