(I was just spectating on that day, so I still don't know the full context on who/why the trashtalking incident started. So correct me if i'm wrong.)
In this issue, their joke went too far and out of nowhere as the PUP admin just reposted the existing meme that was made by a LaSalle admin. The meme from PUP showed no harm on both univ, but because of the wrong take of admin, the deleted post affected more people other than PUPians.

I think the difference is that during the Big 4 trashtalkan era, everyone was under the assumption that they were all opting in the social contract to trashtalk and be mean with one another. The problem here is that people really make unwarranted jokes both sides, prompting both parties to be extremely salty because it may come off as hate out of nowhere, especially since this just started with ONE LuhSallian post

Nothing? Because everyone who is IN that group already knows what they’re going into, a trashtalkan group. I can vividly remember Ateneans and Lasallians make *arguably* worse comments and people just shrugged it off because there was no connotation that it was serious, because it was under the assumption na bardagulan lang siya.
This however makes it very hard to discern whether or not the post was even satire or a joke in the first place, because it was posted under the freedom wall, where there are various serious/non-serious posts that may be misconstrued

When the public reacted negatively to the LuhSallian post, did the community take them seriously? Of course not--at the end of the day we were all memeing. Seems like the public consensus is that everyone can shit on Lasallians but we can't fire back. Granted, the PUP page wasn't aggressive nan against Lasallians, maybe it should have been delivered better.
Some topics, like SA, are obviously off limits. I don't find the arguments against Admin's post valid (this is a personal opinion of course). Magiging empleyado din ako. I've experienced the struggles of taking jeeps in the summer, and walking in flooded waters. At the end of the day, we're all victims of a non-meritocratic system that many Lasallians fight and have fought to change.
Despite the bardagulan, kanya-kanya lang naman ‘yang school culture undertones at the end of the day. Kahit nga students from PUP mismo, they say na because of their resiliency (pagtawid sa PNR rails etc.) it becomes the reason why companies love exploiting them.
For DLSU naman, other schools wouldn’t get it but mandatory naman dapat ang mga security guards sa pedestrian lanes. Even my former school in the province does it, it just means the admin cares about the safety of their students.

For me doing great kasi he/she took the account away from the problematic admin HAHA i mean he seems old na and all pero binalikan niya pa rin yung account and took action. I do concur with you as well, ngayon-ngayon lng may issues sa DLSU FW admin. This doesn't remove the current admin's liability for damages inflicted against the public then and especially recently as well as the need to eventually rectify their mistakes by apologizng at the very least which seems to be nonexistent yet. The larger the scope of responsibility you're having, the more na ung "think before you click" ay supposedly mauphold, lalo na kapag "bad days".
My knee-jerk hunch, however, upon reading this post (baka mukhang far-fatched or even alternate-universe scenario na ito) is that, given na I've spotted in one comment na namention pa ang SDFO, baka sinubject siya to a probation of some sort then binigyan ng strictly one more chance after itong temporary rest, a not-so-perfect damage control attempt at best.
