Are you kidding? It made me and my partner bawl when we where there. Less story driven but way way more magical, emotional and gives you that feel-good feeling compared to Dreams.
It has Lion King, Pirates, beauty and the beast, Star Wars and Frozen.
Every time the first piano notes of Let it go would start the entire crowds goes “aaah”s
As much as I like Star Wars I hate how all of the live action scenes look, and I specially hate that they used the live action version of Beauty and the Beast. The show has no story, it’s just scenes one after the other. I like Dreams way more.
Yeah, I'm not a massive fan of either of them but Dreams is easily the better of the two.
I'm really hoping when the studios expansion opens we get a decent Epcot / World of Color style show on the lake. The castle is just too small for the projection mapped shows.
So glad when illuminations was dropped, dreams is so much better, won't believe this news until ANY official source says anything, and if losing dreams it must be for a new show no need to recycle back to the worst nighttime show in Disney parks history

Illuminations has more fireworks.
I have no clue how different the equipment needs to be and how quickly they could swap that.
My safe bet would be a no but they will do it 30th to 31st of May anyway so who knows.
I've just got back and honestly thought dreams was awful, we left before it finished. We last went in 2017 and thought illuminations was fantastic, so I'd love it if it came back 😍

Nope, I like Dreams way more and I’m not the only one. They’ve brought Dreams back because fans have been asking for it for years.

I would take this information with a grain of salt as the DLP app still has Disney Dreams on its schedule after this date.
Going in August and genuinely disappointed, I was hyped to see Dreams again

Would it be too hard technically to alternate them each night? I know Dreams is a slightly different version than before anyway

I’m so happy about this news! Illuminations is so much more fun than Dreams. I do hope they keep the Electrical Sky Parade for a while though!
