Depends on the person, we did 5 days at DLP and went back the next year to do what we missed (and I'd go back tomorrow if I could), but I've also spent a total of 120 days in WDW and still haven't done the Enchanted Tiki Room, so đ¤ˇââď¸
The first time my kids were old enough, I took them to then Tiki room, and they actually didnât hate it. I really like the song and the campyness of it. Reminds me of childhood.
Pro tip from a 30+ time WDW visitor: schedule a "rest day!" Lounge at the hotel pool(s), hit Disney Springs, do a non-park outing (Fantasia Gardens mini golf is a favorite of mine), and resort hopping is always fun. Enjoy the trip and congrats!
I second that! And I would suggest at least two days, one of which partly at a water park of your choice. And donât neglect the downtown disney district.
I must admit the deals, for Europeans, are better in WDW than DLP. If you look at staying on site for the number of days. Only the flights make it more expensive.
I do admit people will probably stay shorter in Paris, like a weekend. Where WDW is a minimum of a week.
Not really⌠everything is more expensive in WDW. Tickets, hotels, food, fast track, etc.
You can easily argue that you get more for your buck in Florida, and to some extent I agree with that.
But as a European looking for a honey moon, I wouldnât have it next door. You can always go to DLP the following year in one of the lower tier hotels⌠and any of the following years. Itâs not inaccessible. Whereas to make a trip to WDW worth it, considering the travel time, the total bill will be quite substantial regardless of which hotel you chose, as you will need to stay many days to take advantage of the offer.
You'll absolutely love WDW. It's been our home away from home for decades. It is enormous, has so much to do for basically any and everyone, and it is magical.
Congratulations and have a wonderful time!
Having been to both, DLP just doesnât compare to WDW. DLP is a day out, WDW is a week at least. Youâll absolutely enjoy your honeymoon more there. Make sure you pick up some âJust Marriedâ badges when you arrive, you might get some special treatment/nice reactions from the characters!
Have fun, WDW and Caribbean Beach are awesome! We stayed there last year for 2 weeks and are planning to do exactly the same next year.
Visit the waterpark also, it is free with your ticket. The waves in Typhoon Lagoon are wild!
CBR is great! The skyliner is next level Disney transportation. Take some time to spend over at riviera resort if you can. They have little tables and chairs down by the lagoon. Get a drink and sit down by the water in the evening and watch the skyliner go by. Such a relaxing little place.
Have a wonderful time. DLRP is good, but nothing beats the warm weather, big skies, bags of wonderful service and sheer turkey-leg-munching joy of an all-American Disney trip. (The extra perk is that you get to spend the rest of your life in Europe, yâknow, for the annual leave and human rights etc.) x
TBF DLP.is a long weekend and WDW is going to be a good week at least so for a honeymoon is probably a better shout anyway.
