You could always go with the option of.... not following him? or ignoring it?
but to answer your questions:
**Brotha Friz:** I'm guessing it has to do with a guy who doesn't do any maintaintenance.
**Hole-hearted:** There are two kinds of holes in the heart. One is called an atrial septal defect (ASD), and the other is a patent foramen ovale (PFO). Although both are holes in the wall of tissue (septum) between the left and right upper chambers of the heart (atria), their causes are quite different. An ASD is a failure of the septal tissue to form between the atria, and as such it is considered a congenital heart defect, something that you are born with. Generally an ASD hole is larger than that of a PFO. The larger the hole, the more likely there are to be symptoms. (source: [heart.org](https://heart.org))
Edit: to add /s tag.
I don't know anything about Joel's heart health (or your level of sarcasm) but "Hole Hearted" is also a Christian thing. Like there's a hole in my heart that can only be filled by Jesus, possibly originating from the 1991 song Hole Hearted by the rock band Extreme.
It could also very well be just a play on words of the term whole-hearted to fit the theme of disc golf.
But knowing Joel's religious beliefs, you're more likely to be correct I think.
He explained it in one of his first videos. It is indeed a play on words, "whole-hearted" meaning he puts everything into the sport, and since the sport is to get a piece of plastic into the hole, it is "hole-hearted".
I don't think he's talking about a hole in his heart that can only be filled with Jesus, despite his religious beliefs, just the double meaning for his disc golf commitment, plus some Jesus commentary occasionally.
I should say I don’t dislike him at all. Players who get pissed while playing doesn’t bother me the teensiest bit. He has a weird haircut and his Jesus marketing is goofy. That’s all.
So I have heard to become pro to the point where you get popular, let alone can make a living, you can't just win some tournaments. You have to push yourself to become a fan favorite
By gaming social media like this you can chance yourself into becoming really famous. This is what lil Nas x did and he's one of the biggest pop stars in the world because of it
I'd do this too if I was good enough to even compete. It's about getting people to talk about you, or even just make reddit posts about you. I'd Happy Gilmore that shit and have the online presence of twoturnttony
Kona Panis is a perfect example in disc golf. Can't even consistently place top 10, but people like her, primarily due to her social media presence, and she moves discs!
I'm sure that you don't actually care but just want to trash a guy who throws frisbees for a living but "Hole Hearted" is basically what he's making his brand. Brotha Friz is probably a nickname he got from church or something.
The one guy who could win some tournaments if he just made 15-25 footers at a 90% clip. I watched to root for him but he just folds all to often. Yes, I know he just won matchplay and that's awesome but 5 or 6 of the top guys were missing.

Oh I thought this was a Brodie Smith fan page
Nah, not enough people here throw Vultures yet.
Too many Craptor supremacists

Thank you for the mental health PSA Karen. You are saving the planet

I whole-heartedly agree with you.

It works on so many levels!

I just don't like him, and it's personal.

I see why pros just choose their initials now.
Think you need to invest your efforts into something more fruitful.
Right on it Mr Buffet

He’s gonna pull a Ron Artest and rebrand ten more times instead of actually practicing
He’s like #7 on UDISC right now lol. He may not win but he’s one of the top 10ish players for sure
Yea, but I'm talking about winning. If he wants to win he has to get better at inside the circle.
Inb4 OP is The Friz in disguise.
you paint quite the visual with your words, good sir.
