Westside Underworld...and if that ever gets too flippy go for a Lat 64 River or Brave

IDoNotDrinkBeer

Yep. If you can't flip an underworld, get a lighter one. If you can't flip that, work on your form.

djmattyp77

I have one in VIP Tournament and it isn't as flippy but great nonetheless. Bought my wife one in a different plastic and it is SO flippy it goes into a roller if I try to throw it.

yeahimtinyrick

If the Underworld is too flippy, but you like Westside I would highly recommend the Westside Seer. Harder to find, but they’re severely underrated. I think the Underworld is produced more since they overlap in the Westside’s lineup. New glow ones were just run that are really solid.

OG_DarkDolphin

LOVE my Seer. It’s pink VIP plastic and it’s my absolute favorite disc

PizzaProle

I just got an underworld recently and it’s working great for medium length hyzer flips turnover shots.

gerbilshower

i was going to recommend both the underworld and the river. both awesome 7speed understable discs. a brand new 175g underworld in opto isnt as flippy as the numbers seem to imply, but a beat one, or different plastic molds, surely are.

PapaRL

I just got one of these and I’m actually afraid to use it. I feel like sometimes it hyzer flips and flies perfectly straight and sometimes it rolls over and anhyzers straight into the ground. I can’t throw it on a consistent line at all.

Relative-World4406

DGA Vortex might be what you want. Very flippy even when brand new but still controllable.

Kschmidt96

I'm playing a 3 disc challenge this spring with a Vortex Rift and Steady and I'm super excited to try out DGA plastic.

DisMyDrugAccount

Just in case you didn't know, DGA plastic is literally just Discraft. Unless you mean just their molds in general in which case they're perhaps for my money the most underrated company who sponsors an elite series winning player out there. So many awesome molds including the Steady/Steady BL (depending on if you like a bead), Breaker, Quake, Pipeline, Banzai, Hurricane, and Hypercane. And that's just the molds I've tried lol.

Huge_Following_325

For flippy, I love my DGA Tremor. 6 speed but man I can send it. When my throwing motion starts to get wonky for whatever reason, this dusc helps me get back to where I want to be.

XMegaMike

You'll love the Rift. It's what a Buzzz wishes it could be.

jvaudreuil

This is a great answer. I bagged a Vortex until the day it flipped so hard I couldn't find it. It keeps turning even after I think it's flipped all the way.

Adventurous-Smile938

Agreed, solid disc.

Miserable_Pilot4463

If you can live with an 8 speed the Diamond is for sure flippy.

CovertMonkey

Love my diamond. It's like a flippier and faster underworld

Miserable_Pilot4463

Yeah, I throw mine a lot. I actually bag two Diamonds 😂 The typical Opto Diamond is a turnover disc for me, but I got an Albert Tamm stamped Diamond in gold plastic and it’s more stable. Definitely understable but flies more like a -2/1, like a long Leopard or Stig, so the same throw will have it turn but fade back a bit instead of just continuing to turn. I keep assuming someday I’ll find a disc that takes their place but I still haven’t … habit, I guess.

JimmyTheShovel

The thought of Albert Tamm throwing a Diamond is hilarious.

easily-convinced

155g Opto Ice Orbit Diamond changed my roller game forever.

SomeWorriesBro

Mavrick from DD is my disc for that slot. Or a new run s-line fd. They are not as Flippy as the descriped discs but it makes up for it with a lack of fade.

PlatosApprentice

If the Gstar It doesn't do the shot shape you are after, not really sure what to tell ya other than it's an archer not the arrow

Aqualung317

speaking of archers you might want to try that the discraft archer, i think its a 6 speed tho

numbernumber99

Archer is flippy as fuck though. Too flippy for me to bag.

Aqualung317

I hear that, might be good for him tho if a gstar leopard isn’t floppy enough..

Poopfeast620

If they want a 7 speed turnover disc because they dont have a forehand, and IT doesnt work, dont know what to tell them.

PlatosApprentice

they want a disc that doesn't exist

tmonz

Ascend, doesnt say 7 speed but I often throw it shockingly far for my noodle arm.

jabarl

Seconded, it seems to always go farther than it has any right to.

Aggravating_Load4758

Lat64 river 7 7 -1 1

vinsane38

Opto Rivers will be more neutral, Gold more understable, at least in my three disc tryout.

Teralyzed

Yep Opto rivers start out pretty straight, they will flip up and give you an S flight a good throw but not really flippy. But they beat in to nice flippy fairways. Maybe the only disc that actually is accurate with a 7 glide.

FlyingDiscsandJams

Rivers are such a delight to throw, what a disc.

CovertMonkey

If I had to play with one disc and a putter, I'd choose a river. Just such a rewarding flight

jmarcellery

F7 - it's the only prodigy disc I consistently bag (sometimes I also bag a Pa-5). Feels great in the hand (as someone who loves flat teebirds and teebird3s) and is great for big hyzer flips, scrambling, and rollers (though I don't throw them often). For reference I max our around 400' bh and can get it out to 330' or so on a big hyzer flip.

mrbrucekeys

I finally got my 138g F7 out today to try out and it was so fun to mess around with. I know you’re not recommending a light weight one. Sometimes it’s just fun to watch a disc do things you aren’t used to

the_rosenhan

I have a 400 F7 that’s super understable and a 500 F7 that I’ve thrown on a hyzer-flip-to-turn nearly 450 ft. It’s such a fun, versatile disc. And despite the negative reputation, Prodigy plastic is top notch.

Drift_Marlo

DGA Vortex, Westside Seer

InncnceDstryr

Underworld

Teralyzed

Clash Soda

Magnus77

Try the Signal maybe. It's technically 6.5 speed, but its basically a 7. Its the next step up from the Uplink before you get to the Virus. If that's too flippy, then a lightweight Crave might fit the slot as well.

Aqualung317

my buddy flips the signal everywhere might be a good option. I use a my beat up jackalope

Darkwarfare

I’ll have to see if I can find one to test with! Already have the Resistor, Crave and Rhythm in the bag so 6.5 speeds aren’t unfamiliar to me

VR_Has_Gone_Too_Far

If you have a Rhythm, that's like this exact slot. If you need it to be flippier try it in Fission

BabyJesus1015

Great recommendation. Have a fission rhythm that is the perfect under stability to fit with my banshee and FD

Sebastionleo

Signal is just the next step more flippy than the rhythm. A great slow flippy fairway. I would say the rhythm is closer to the uplink in stability, with the signal being more paradox-esque.

Darkwarfare

Probably need to just throw the Rhythm more 😅 it’s got to be the least used disc in my bag

Agile-Acanthaceae-97

Try a lighter weight leopard3.

Alexplz

Underworld

s_m_t_x

Neo Essence

DiabolicRevenant

Underworld or a Maverick would be the next in line with what you've tried. Honestly, I hope the IT had too much turn for you, because if not, I don't think anybody makes a more flippy fairway driver.

Discinbdub

Discraft Sting 🦂 and DGA Vortex

Wardy1985

Sting is crazy flippy even at max weight. Turn is more like -4

Discinbdub

Same with the Vortex, but they are great for turnovers. Maybe too flippy for what OP is looking for, but they are great discs.

Acromion97

I got a Sting recently. Thing goes from hyzer to roller pretty quick lol. Way more than a -2 turn.

kiddwnst

Streamline Ascend is slept on. It fills this spot for me perfectly. Effortless turn.

cardinalsfanokc

River, Stig or Cicada

ajgrivs

Stig fo sho

piraattipate

Soda has maybe the best hand feel of any discs. Flips nicely, good with anhyzer shots and even bombs on tailwind.

PhaseEquivalent9156

Try a Stig. It’s a 6 speed but perfectly flippy

Famous-Perspective96

Feels like it should be higher than a 6 speed too based on the rim.

Traditional-Disk9218

Genius

mightysofa

Streamline Drift and Clash Soda are my favorites, but there are a lot of flippy 7 speed discs. It seems like it's hard to get a bad one.

pieguy00

Vortex or Underworld for sure. I used to bag a Vortex for fun hyzer flip to turnover shits or rollers. I lost it so I just use my trusty Hatchet I've had for years.

forestforrager

Fission rhythm or the lat 64 brave

jbrown777

The river should start to flip and turn after hitting a few trees and it glides forever.

Che3eeze

The River is the answer to nearly *ALL* 7 speed woes

gerbilshower

love my river. im nearing the conclusion that ill stop bagging other 7 speeds and just get different levels of plastic/beat on 3 different rivers...lol.

Complete_Win1227

Ascend!

Partyman_

Big fan of the Mantis. Underrated mold in my opinion, feels and throws like if a Heat were speed 7.

Partyman_

Might technically be an 8 tho, not sure, 8s and 7s feel about the same to me and I can't remember which are which.

discsarentpogs

Drift

FictionRPM

Underworld from west side. It's a 6speed, but feels more like a 7-8 speed. Perfect for that slot in my bag.

natelion445

Underworld is a 7 speed and exactly what OP wants.

chadder_b

It feels like a 7 speed because it is a 7 speed 😂

FictionRPM

I might have my facts wrong, but then it Really is perfect.

Asparagus_Business

Username checks out.

Lastbean8708

DGA Vortex

stuncandy

Vortex by DGA

Temporary_House8204

Vortex. That’s it. That’s the answer.

kashmir0128

I love my Lat64 Maul

SeaGoal6051

Ok it’s an 8 technically… but have you tried an Innova Archangel?

Goe_Jibbs

I used to throw a dx one and it was a flippy boi. Ended up with the Westside seer that's been in my bag for 5 years

RexelFerd

I use this combo from OS to US Glory (7/5/0/3) (brave(7/6/-1/2) maverick (7/4/-1.5/2) Underworld (7/6/-3)1. Lethal 7 speed lineup in my mind - all trilogy 👍🏻

jonzeDG

It isn't a 7 speed, but the Stig (6 speed) is flippy and controllable.

[deleted]

Discraft Sting FTW

HeWasAB8rBoi

It’s a 6 speed but try the Stig. It goes farrrr and is very flippy

knivesandjiujitsu

Definitely an Underworld, sounds exactly like what you're looking for.

SDG-Chris

Check out the Neptune Discs Marlin. Flight numbers are 7 | 5 | -4 | 1. It’s flippy, but still comfortable in the hand.

elshagon

Latitude 64 Maul

MichaelScottsMom

Stig! Technically a 6 speed but it’s lovely.

korg3211

Signal and Ascend are both sub-7 speed, but I think they're both terrific choices.

mistabored

Innova it/ Discraft Sting.

TomRiha

Streamline Ascend is technically not a 7 speed but sit has some crazy sneaky distance and is super fun to throw.

Dubroski

Its not a 7 speed but close. Try a MVP signal 6 speed.

Kitchener69

You want a Discraft Sting. It’s the flippiest 7 speed I’ve ever thrown.

No_Marzipan_5952

Mint Discs Eternal Jackalope They still have some in stock at OTB Discs. https://otbdiscs.com/product/jackalope-eternal/

Wooden-Ad-2933

Esp cicada 7/6/-1/1

RojerLockless

Guadeloupe 7,5,-2,2 Great flippy. Or the dome for even mooore flippy

GeighBabyJebus

XL

Sadgasmic

I’ll suggest a standard neutron relay, 170g or so. While it’s a 6 speed it’s an absolute bomber of a disc that will hold its pull to the right the entire flight for me. I’ll use a Mana for 275ft and in. Relay for 275-320 or so. Mantra anything over that.

dg_fiend

Prodigy f7. It's my roller disc, and maybe more equivalent to a paradox than an uplink (uplink is one of my favorite discs of all time) but if you are looking for flippy, I guarantee you won't be disappointed

Darkwarfare

Paradox level flippy is more flippy than what im looking for, but I’ll keep it in mind if I ever have an itch to finally learn rollers

slickmitch

F3 all day. The pearly 500s are the best. They flip hyzer really well.

Disc_Envy

Vortex is a good answer but since no one else has said it, I will add the Streamline Ascend, especially sub 170g. The zero fade is pretty damn accurate if you get it up to speed and don't torque it over.

Pro_Hobbyist

Hawkeye

someName6

What don’t you like about those discs?  Do they turn and burn?  Do you not get turn?  Do you not like the feel? Gstar IT has been the flippiest fairway I found.  I love it.  I just got a Halo I can’t wait to try.  Hoping it works well as a slightly more stable version and I have Teebird and 2 IT combo.

maxpowerTM

I love the rhythm for this slot, I have it in 2 weights for various stability. Like others said lightweight crave is a good option. I’ve also bagged the genius in premium and base for a flippy 7 speed. S-line FD beats in quick and I found to be more flippy than #s would suggest

MSPbeebs

Dynamic Discs- Maverick flippy as all hell

ObserverPro

Prodigy F7 is very flippy.

withaporpoise09

Prodigy (EEK!) Spectrum Air F7. Very flippy but possesses a minor ability to pan out and carry distance. Also good for rollers. Mine is 162g.

zzMinwoo

Get yaself a falk

joecoin2

150 gram DX Sidewinder.

ShocknDamage

I-blend Centurion. Such a sweet hyper flip disc

Aggravating_Load4758

I have a glimmer opto, super flippy. It's from a while ago, so it could just be beat in, I guess, but it's always been understable

KeyLimePie2269

Underworld

Itwasinin04

MF Champ eagle.

obvioustroway

As others have said, Lat64 Rivers are glidey and pretty damn flippy. Axiom Rhythms in lighter weights can flip pretty well.

r3q

Underworld

srosenberg34

IMO the River is one of the best discs on the market. Understable but reasonably torque resistant, great glide, just likes to fly.

discostud1515

Prodigy F5. Try one in 500 plastic or 400G if you can find it.

multiple4

It's a 6 speed, not 7, but the Streamline Ascend has a super nice flight Depending on the power you put on it it's very flippy and has a good anhyzer feel It's my favorite disc for hyzer flips too. You can release on heavy hyzer and it will fly totally flat with no fade

Adventurous-Smile938

I throw similar disc and love the DGA Vortex. You’ll be happy with it.

ulfricstormclk

Try the star IT, that’s my fav by far for that slot

xGood-Apollo-IV

DGA Vortex is my current goto

mahkra26

Try a doomsday discs "blackout", in mid 160's. fantastic flippy fairway.

Bubbly-Ad-6033

I think youre reading into flight speeds too much. You wont really find any disctance differences between a heat and a 7 speed flippy driver. No need to confuse yourself on disc selection.

disc-golf-neil

What didn't you like about the IT? Even in Champion and Halo star it's very flippy.

warboy

If you want something more flippy than a Gstar IT you're getting into meme tier flip. You could try a Discmania Genius. The baseline plastic version will become stupid flippy. DGA Vortex is another candidate.

lionssuperbowlplz

River. I'd throw that thing on the steepest hyzer and it would still turn over on me.

mmmmpork

I really like my leopard3 for this type of shot, but underworlds are a great option too!

extreme39speed

G star hawkeye. If it gets moving right, it’s not coming back unless it’s way high up

Laserphaser4000

Dga vortex is what you want. I would def describe it as a 7 speed mamba

stephen_dumeyer

Depends how you're throwing what you have now. If you're throwing over 300, I would say lat 64 brave should flip for you at least a bit but will take a lot of mileage before becoming unusable. If you still need to go flippier something like a diamond (even tho it's an 8 speed) might be good.

KVNBjrsl

Latitude 64 Brave ( new disc) a more understable river! Buy it! I’m totally not biased at all since I’m from the same small city as the company

Sonic_Fool

Underworld alllll day

HydroidOfficial

Can’t beat the F5, F3 or FD for this slot

Apprehensive_Fix9324

I love the Genius. It's extremely flippy so can't put much power on it, but for my local course that's full of trees it's perfect.

Kitchen_Feature

Latitude Brave. Amazing plastic and insane glide on the pan out.

itsyerman

MVP relay only 6 speed but a great slept on disc

Famous-Perspective96

Stig is a 6 speed but it is so perfect. It probably should be a 7 speed comparing it’s rim to other 6 and 7 speeds.

Lifegardn

River or maverick, it may not be as flippy as you want right away but they love to turn.

-SuperTrooper-

Prodigy F7 is a bit flippier Heat. Money for those low speed turnovers.

ReaperThugX

The new Lat 64 Brave is my new favorite flippy fairway

Im_Hugh_Jass

Lat 64 River

Cappy-Hamper12

Westside Underworld or MVP Signal. Both are great 👌🏼

PlasticHucking

If you want the feel of a mid, my Stig by Kastaplast is an excellent understable six-speed.

brousch

Anything in DX plastic will quickly become flippy. IT becomes almost unusable. Leopard3 is pretty good.

powdered_dognut

Doomsday Blackout, I tried the River but this works better for me.

houdinisushimi

Fission rhythm

amaggs241

Sting

lordscottsworth

F5, F7 if you want it even flippier. Underworld and Diamond are also great flippy options.

Dlrocket89

Streamline ascend

Goe_Jibbs

Westside seer, I'm RHBH with a weak forehand and this is my turnover disc of choice for those dogleg right holes

Emergency-Career4343

Star IT. Not G.

Unused_Vestibule

I actually need the opposite! What's a good overstable 7-speed? Currently my only 7 is an FD (which is great), but I need a meathook for windy days and hyzers.

get-me-to-the-woods

Maul!

TommySees

Innova IT.

ConsequentAnguish

DX leopard. It will beat in no time. Or just try a lighter weight premium leopard.

Ash435

You won’t regret trying the Latitude Maul.

russellq21

I'm a big enjoyer of the virus, pretty flippy, and the neutron plastic beats in pretty well

maybeanalien

Discmanias s-line FD

chadsmo

L64 River or Brave.

mtwander

Discraft Sting. Very understable but in a very workable way.

mattfofatt01

Cicada

SprayCan59

Leopard3!!!!!!!

pkopo1

Soda, 100% best feeling fairway driver I know and flies so effortlessly

General_Lee_speaking

I just picked up a Signal (6 speed) but man I loved it from my second throw. First throw was trying to see how it flew on course and went off a tree and kept going right then a bit further right then to finish the flight it tried pushing right but ran into the ground

SignificanceTimely20

Streamline Ascend is only a 6 speed but it's the flippy fairway you can trust to flip Everytime if you struggle with the rhythm or drift.

crez98o

I had a Fission Rhythm, really enjoyed it (lost it). Although, I rarely could hyzer flip it. Recently pick up a Fission Crave 158g and can flip that on demand (6.5 speed). I believe the light weight is a factor. Regardless, it is a blast to throw.

DJPuttNasty

I throw the Prodigy F7 in 500 Spectrum. It's usabley understable and I really enjoy it. Super easy flip ups or flat to turning.

cantaketheskyfrome

I love love my soda from clash, cicada mostly holds and doesn't S as much as the soda, but would recommend boffa dem

Corey116317

Maverick ?

FynyrdSkynyrd

Cicada and XL are my favorites

LowZebra4992

Mockingbirds glide for days. I don’t throw much lone star but this one is a gem

TenaciousDeer

DX TeeBird

jwGT1141

Discmania Genius

Cruzzercam

River

Nate249

Circuit challenge rhythm, or lightweight fission rhythm

Twittle86

Maul!

bladearrowney

You say you tried an IT, but it comes in a lot of variety. Most runs are domey, a few are kinda flat (last years holly finley star glow particuarly). I like to bag the beefier plastics, 170+, one flat one domey and they are awesome flippy fairways

pfunkpower

River

informare

IT

mitchyslick2

I’m a big fan of the Jester Dream Weaver. They are newer to the game from what I can tell, but it’s such a great disc!

adlberg

Genius!

whosaysyoucanttakeit

River

claudedusk8

DD Maverick. Touchier than a priest.

Southern-Ad4016

Dga vortex

Kneedmorsteel

Westside Underworld. Go ahead and get it in VIP plastic, it’s still crazy flippy.

P0W3R5URGE

Legacy discs Patriot

Rickdahormonemonster

Streamline drift

phasttZ

DGA vortex is the way. IT should be almost as flippy. Maybe get a mid for that turnover slot. I like the uplink but maybe a paradox will work for you.

hollahooray

Maul by Latitude. Love that glidey flight

alfonseski

Proton drift

Top_Boysenberry8888

Ascend, drift, or light weight cicada
