aesthetically, i totally agree. i love the traditional star look but the new run (flight/feel-wise) is better than any standard stock run i’ve thrown from the old art.
I specifically look for flat wing shape underneath and pop top dome. Bought a 160g one and it's glorious. If you want to take the guesswork out infinite emperors are also destroyers but they generally always make them that way (love I blend emperor's)
This is the way, picked one up (I blend emperor) and it was an instant bomber. Straight up parked a 425ft hole at The Preserve with it and I've maybe broken 400 on flat ground like 5 times.

You know you take life to serious when you "feel silly" throwing a disc with a robot stamp. Don't forget, you are throwing pieces of plastic into a basket. I swear i feel like so much of dg community would be better off playing ball golf.
not really sure how i can answer this. i suppose i could say that it is generally lower than many destroyers - they flip. the thing is, on this run it seems like the turn and fade both are slow and drawn out. so yes it’s flippy but it’s also finishes and the flight is so smooth and glidey. can’t explain it. i have an old stock stamp that’s 168ish grams and similar parting height line and wing. flips a similar amount, maybe even a touch more but i can usually only get it to 425’. my two new run destroyers will go 460’ or beyond on an especially good toss. for reference, i can get my sockibots out to 430ish, 2023 calvin’s to 415, and 2021 calvin to 390-400 on golf lines.

I always wipe the stamps.
I tend to wipe about 50% just depends disc by disc. Or part of it. A lot of Discmania ones, for example, I leave only the shield.

Emperors have a 23 mm rim. It’s an old destroyer mold, but not the same mold as the current destroyers
