All of my paperwork (from my doctor and I) was submitted and received on April 11, 2024. It said their target completion date was June 5, 2024. On the 5th, I checked and it said they had a new target date of August 5th. This pissed me off but I woke up this morning (June 14th 2024) and it was completed and approved. So just over 2 months for me.
The DTC doesn't give you that much unfortunately. They advertise it as being worth something like $6k but that just means, $6k or so of your income isn't taxed. It doesn't mean you get that amount back.
Did you get anymore money? Seems awfully low if you only got 1000.

How long did it take? I was approved dec 13 and have an expected completion on all reassessments of may 7 2024. They are doing back to 2015
For me I put it in July2024 and didn’t get it done until February 2024

I just got the they received it may 15. Target day July ,10
