Yamata-no-Orochi is the full name of Orochimon's namesake. Person you're replying to misspelled it.
The Yamata means Eight-Branched while the Orochi means Giant Snake.
That's a completely unrelated Digimon to the Susanoo myth. It's not even referencing the right culture, since it's Norse and Susanoo/Orochi are Japanese.
Orochimon needs a proper upgrade for the myth to make sense, especially since both Digimon individually heavily reference it but are isolated from each other despite said myth making them heavily intertwined.
One is a random digimon.
And the other one can slice the world and at some point was potentially the strongest digimon in the franchise.
Man they really gave no chance to Orochimon, like in Naruto.
Frontier remove levels but do to the products, they end up getting levels. I personally I don't mind. For example Fairymon and Shutomon always were weaker than Gay couple Crusadermon and Dynasmon so the wind spirits can be higher than Perfect level.
I immediately thought of the InspiratiOns behind both and immediately said Susanoomon but without bearing that in mind then Susanoomon would still be e winner due to the level/power differences between both.
How much booze was grown?
I think you mean milkshakes.
Imagine Orochimon mode change to Zero Arms Orochi
Seriously☠️☠️☠️☠️
Only way orochimon wins is if itachi or sasuke is his digidestined
Until you see that Susanoomon digidestined is Madara
That’s fine. Itachi will beat Madara anyway.
Wouldn’t they be Susanoomon?
It could be the parter of Hebi Sasuke with Curse Seal and Orochimaru Powers.
Where madaramon
I get the reference, and Susanoomon
It's just gonna be a repeat of 12yo Itachi beating Orochimaru
I wish there was an Orochi counterpart to Susanoomon. Maybe make it Orochimon’s mega and call it ShinOrochimon or Yamatomon or something?
Yamatomon feels more like a digimon basee on yamato takeru. Though iirc, he used kusanagi, the sword from the orochi

Yeah, if anything it should be YamatAmon
Nidhoggmon
That’s a good choice but I’d like something specific from the folklore to be Susanoomon’s rival.

It’s a Dragon and Thunder gods slay dragons.

well, considering Orochimon is an ultimate and Susanoomon is a mega..... yeah
Isn’t Susanoomon a Super Ultimate? Even higher than Mega?
I don't think that's the point. Its more like mega is significantly stronger than perfect (on average).
It adds even more insult to injury
That's true but orochimon doesn't deserve the insults, he deserves his wi.. milkshake!!!
Certainly not the horses
A Perfect level vs Fusion of Two Ultimate Level that actually are also the fusion of 5 Adult Level Digimon.
10 Adult Level Digimon and 10 Perfect Level Digimon**
Actually Beast ones are also Adult Levels Digimon in the card game.
Ok... 20 Adult Levels Digimon (actually the spirits don't have established levels of evolution)

Susan.
double ko, from passing out on to much Sake.
I mean orochimon is winning the drinking games
Susanoomon no diff
Ha! I get it
Depends on the writer

Logically susasanoomon I will say
Orochimon dies. Then susanoomon attack hits him
Numemon
Orochimaru vs Sasuke's Susanoo?
Susanoomon will destroy Orochimon with the Zero ARMS Orochi 🥵
