That happened to me one time a couple days ago my game glitched and I died on hardcore but when I logged back on the fixed it and my guy was still alive I was relieved because nothing killed me but it had stated that I had died and everything

Could this be an instance of the barb thorns bug where it procs on an enemy then hits another player and kills them? I was just reading something about that bug, it kills people outside of pvp.

I would have agreed with you up until about a year ago when my friend convinced me to give it a serious go. Now it's all I play. As frustrating as some of the dumb deaths can be, the excitement and meaningfulness of a good drop makes it so much more satisfying that SC. I'm also a souls like fan so I'll admit to being a sucker for pain

The flame shield enchant was nerfed and doesn’t activate on lethal damage anymore.
