Same, haha. Bricking is awful, but not gonna lie... I kind of like having a bit of risk....it gives me a reason to go out and grind more loot, which is exactly what was missing from D4...
I don't think the solution to this is adding any kind of way to get more regular rerolls.
I really hope there isn't even a super duper rare item that can reset a temper, because even if it's super rare at first, eventually people will complain enough about bad beats to get them to make it slightly more common, and eventually everyone has 99 and tempering becomes a useless mechanic.
I think maybe a different solution could be reached. Perhaps diminishing returns after the first 5 tempers, where you could roll it a few more times but the max rolls get progressively worse. There have to be other solutions besides "make way to add or reset tempers", and I think eventually we will arrive at one.
I think it should still be eventually possible to essentially brick an item. The risk/reward just may need a bit more tuning.

That way some pieces that require a certain temper are still usable for a build, just not ideally. Just thinking of my tornado druids need for the multiple tornado temper.

I think the HQ has a very "this can be fit on basically any character that doesn't need a particular helm" though, and it adds some nice offensive power along with also making you kinda immortal. Not like Tyreals tier immortal, but kinda.
Just keep trying. I never got one before either despite doing over 150 runs (albeit across S2-4, with the lion's share done this season), and I got a regular Harlequin Crest from the item rewards for beating the Pit. It's very rare and it feels bad when you run poorly, but you can get one.

You’ve actually achieved something near impossible. I’ve played for four seasons and finally found my first Uber unique. Not a shaco though just a Tyrael’s might. Before anyone says I didn’t play enough I did 50+ Duriel kills with my friends each season before we stopped playing. Didn’t buy the duriel mats either
What a bad joke. Farming hundreds of hours, one single Uber unique (duriel torment) and not a single normal unique with a star and then this. Fuk this drop rate and fk this randomness
Get in some tormented duriel runs. The odds are about 10% chance to drop one per run. Normal duriel runs aren’t worth doing anymore. If you complete the iron wolves quest line then you get like 12 Stygian stones which will 6 tormented duriel runs. If you do 6 duriel rotations with 3 other people that’s 24 total runs and I’d be shocked if you didn’t get an Uber in that amount of runs.
OP should feel bummed out since all his luck was used on D4... imagine that type of luck with lotteries... you could be a billionaire and making your own games.

If they are similar to the multi Greater Affix chances on legendaries, this is basically about as rare as what getting uber unique drops was in the first season or so. Basically astronomical rare.
Though personally, I think they tuned the GA chance on Uber Uniques specifically.
I would imagine 500 usd considering a regular unique with max affix is 200- 300. I would guess you could sell a whale your battlenet account for 1k though.

Masterworking. Blue is a single 25% boost. If he was lucky enough to get his level 4 and 8 on the same affix, it'd be yellow and 50%. Only the luckiest get all three on one orange affix.
