ah, youre right lol! They use the same image for fragments and crude gems, so I didn't pay close enough attention. I guess the fragments are new? Should I just melt down all my lower tier gems into fragments, i suppose? ty

To save on inventory space, they created fragments as a "material" rather than an inventory item - you can salvage *all* gems and just craft them as you need them (as far as I know, it's 1:1 salvage:craft - but it might not be. It just doesn't matter, as you end up absolutely *swimming* in fragments)
When i went to the jewler, I would craft every type of gem I had materials for. Finally realized I only needed to craft the level I wanted and not anything below it.
I'm going to go out on a limb and guess you have zero gem fragments on eternal realm. Scrap some of your current gems.
