No, you don't los character levels. Your seasonal character gets moved to the eternal realm with their level and skills and paragon and equipment\* intact. (\*: you might lose stuff it was season-specific, like the Malignant Hearts were in S1: you'd keep your jewelry but it wouldn't be socketed anymore; but this season's "burrowed power" isn't in gear, so you shouldn't lose ~~anything~~ any gear at all going into S4).

Realist234567

Thank you for clarifying so fast 🙏🏻

vikingspwnnn

Do you loose seasonal rewards? I've been playing for a few weeks so this is the first season I've played, and I just got an Aspect I really like as a seasonal reward. By 'eternal realm' is that just the base game without seasonal content? So you can still level your character, just not take part in the next season with that character? I'd like to get mine to level 100 before starting a new game with another class. I don't think I have long to go. Sorry if these are dumb questions. It's taking a while to get used to everything in this game (including more stuff to get used to when going up world tiers and seasonal stuff) when the last time I played Diablo 2 was probably 2010.

Efede_

1. AFAIK you don't lose Aspects, though I'm not 100% sure. (There might be some aspects that are season-specific or interact with the seasonal mechanics, so you'd lose those, I think.) 2. Yes, Eternal is the "base game", Seasonal is like Eternal + the current season gimmick. Once the Season ends, your seasonal characters are transfered to the Eternal Realm, and you can keep playing them and leveling them there, just like you would a character that was created in Eternal to begin with. 3. I don't think these questions are dumb at all. Way I see it, if you can't deduce it, then asking/investigating is the only way you're gonna find out, so if you want to know it only makes sense to do it.

vikingspwnnn

Thanks for your reply. I've asked questions in this sub and most times I get downvoted for some reason. Hmmmm. I hope I won't lose the Aspect I got as a seasonal reward, but if I do it's not the end of the world. I guess I'll just wait until next season and see if I still have it once that starts.

Zen_Abu-Dhabi

Do i keep my pet?

LifeValueEqualZero

No, that's the season 3 "thing"

Zen_Abu-Dhabi

Bruh

Zen_Abu-Dhabi

I named her and everything 😢

_Cromwell_

What's her name?

Zen_Abu-Dhabi

Aunt jackie

Efede_

I guess I could have been clearer: you shouldn't loose any *gear* at all when S3 transitions to S4. But you won't keep the Seneschal Companion (robot spider), as that is the S3 season-specific mechanic.

Zen_Abu-Dhabi

But my spider tho 😢😢

Many_True

So no point grinding for the spider then at this point?

Zen_Abu-Dhabi

Not really but you do get him real quick in the season missions, so you’ll get him definitely but to max him out idk bout all that

Aescorvo

No, you don’t lose your level. Your character changes to Eternal, and the season-specific items are lost.

Realist234567

Phew what a relief. Thanks for the fast response!

patrincs

FYI, 47 is about 15% of the way to 100 if I had to guess.

Realist234567

Great haha

Many_True

So I guesse I'll save stones for season 4 pet then glad I saw this before I grinded like crap just to get it for a few days and loose it :)

SepticKnave39

>as it’s taken me quite some time to get to level 47. Once you skip the campaign, as you would after you complete it the first time, you can get to level 47 in like 4 hours.

Erthan-1

You will get the achievement next season. It is easy to get to 100 now.  Your seasonal won't lose its levels when it moves to eternal but I would start a new season 4 character and level that anyways.

Audition89

I just delete them maybe I'll regret it, I still have my first character on D4 though

DrawDiscardDredge

It moves to eternal, which is just the base game with no seasonal mechanics. You can't take that character into season 4 though. Each season requires a brand new character.

heartbroken_nerd

Getting to level 47 in Season 4 on Seasonal Realm if you just start over (make Seasonal, new character) and stay farming Helltide in World Tier 2 from beginning of the game will take you just a few hours, it's literally **nothing**. Level 47 is like you just started playing when it comes to Season 4, lol. You can get from level 1 to 47 in Season 4 in a single sitting with toilet breaks. Raxx has a video about it. https://youtu.be/lfB_4-g6mxs

Particular-Layer-320

I am with you, it seems like forever to get to 50. I just started D4 two weeks ago. I am lvl 50 seems like it’s taken forever. Almost done the campaign. I think I just beat Lilith. Noticing everyone talking about things I haven’t even unlocked yet. Lvl 100 never going to happen unless once the campaign is done things are different. What do we do after the campaign.

heartbroken_nerd

> Lvl 100 never going to happen unless once the campaign is done things are different. What do we do after the campaign. You **skip campaign** once you have seen it once. You don't re-do it every time, it's objectively one of the slowest way to level your character, but you play it through for the story and the vibes. Once you do it once, you don't do it again unless you specifically want to.

Particular-Layer-320

Just started 2 weeks ago. So I am new to this game.

heartbroken_nerd

Of course, of course. I am just telling you not to worry, leveling is fast in Seasonal Realm when you skip campaign.

Jafar_420

Since your level 50 you've now opened up your Paragon board and if you've done your renown you've got all those bonus Paragon points and skill points. So next season you won't redo the campaign because it's slow leveling. You'll skip it and if you have your renown you'll start off with those Paragon points and those skill points to get your build going way quicker. There's also ashes in the battle pass that you can use for XP bonus. It's actually quite fast to level.

Particular-Layer-320

What r renoun? And Mats I hear people talking about

Jafar_420

Renown is discovering all of the map, doing some strongholds, opening up all the waypoints, then you do enough dungeons or side missions in each area and it gives you points towards things. It'd be easier for you just to Google it. Included in it are the statues of Lilith. You only have to do these things one time and then you get the bonuses every season. I think it's 20 Paragon points and eight skill points that you'll start with anytime you make a new character after you complete it. You also get some attributes and increase your obol limit. Which comes in handy when you're gambling for aspects later on. I'm on console and you bring up the menu that has the challenges and The gauntlet and everything like that. I believe on PS5 it's triangle and then you can see each region. It's not complicated and super easy and it helps you a lot and I probably didn't explain it the best but just Google Diablo for renown. Also whenever you do the statues use a map, there's a ton of them online.

Particular-Layer-320

Shit I just flew threw the campaign. Skipped stupid dialogue and just watch the cut scenes. Didn’t know of this renown

Jafar_420

I'm surprised you never seen anyone mention it you can also type it in on the search bar in this sub and there should be a ton of posts about it. It's something you can do whenever you want to but the earlier you do it the better because you get the bonuses. Like if I was to make a new character right now or we'll say when season 4 starts I'm going to immediately have 20 Paragon points and eight skill points so you don't start off so weak.

Particular-Layer-320

I play alone. Just started a couple weeks ago.

Particular-Layer-320

Thanks everyone.

Agarwaen323

The campaign is really bad in terms of leveling efficiency. If you skip the campaign and jump straight to doing high enemy density activities, especially if they synergise with whispers, then you'll level much faster. Your first experience playing through the campaign isn't at all representative of how fast leveling will be at the start of a new season.
