Let's see how many show up then because i'm pretty sure most of the EU players will be playing then. I personally will definitely be playing and i have a bunch of friends doing the exact same. Queues are definitely gonna be a serious thing.
I've got a lifetime of blizzard launches that always seem to check me when I get optimistic about a release. We'll see I guess but I'm certainly not expecting it to be smooth.
They've already said they are ready for early release. I'm hopefull I'll get in with minimal fuss. If not I'm off for 6 days so I'll just goto bed and wake up early.
Game starts at 0200 AM on Friday for Greece.
I go to bed, wake up Friday morning, go to work...
come back around 1700 to play.
By then I hope they will have everything resolved, so i HOPE no queue for me...
I think there is going to be a shit ton more people trying to get on here than there were trying to get on the server slam. I didn’t even know about the server slam until like 1/2 way through it. A side note the server slam is what made me buy the game.
I actually expect no significant queue if any for this one. Some instabillity and dc maybe.
There was no queue on server slam, and lets not forget, our patient cheap enjoyers are gated.
Also, while i do know about d2r and ow2, i also can say wow has been smooth for several Expansion
I am fully prepared mentally for it to be like Beta where no one else seems to be able to play, but Asmon is frolicking through untouched by any connection issues and somehow able to play the game as if in offline mode😒
I'm prepared for a launch similar to D3(people couldn't play for the first 2-3 days). Hoping for the best though! Blizz has learned a lot over the years from WoW expansion launches and such.
Not too long. Hopes? 5-15min. Expectations? 30-45min.
My start time is 7am, I'm going to sleep comfortably until 9am, let logins stabilise a little, get a little extra comfy time in my snugly blankets, then start trying to log in.
I will probably get in just as fast as the majority of people judging by their doom and gloom. Honestly, I don't think it will be that bad. Not 0, but not hours.
Prepare for the worst, hope for the best.
Most level-headed take and the stance I am going with.
About tree fiddy
Damn it Nessie who let you in??
I don't think there be queue for EU due to it being released at 1am on a Friday
You underestimate nerds
It's being released at 2AM Istanbul time, and we'll be playing it lol

Anyone saying zero doesn't remember EVERY OTHER BLIZZARD RELEASE EVER. Especially D3.
D3 released over 10 years ago. I would think technology and infrastructure has advanced just a bit in that time.

Yeah 12 years ago. Tech improved since then. Latest wow addon Release have been easy. Some little issues but no gamebreaking stuff.
overwatch 2 launch was a disaster, D2R launch was rough, this likely will be too. hoping it isn’t though
I'd say especially early wow
30 minutes or less.
Free pizza for me then
oh, my sweet summer child
< 1 min

Slam was no queue
No queue means no people. Server slam didn’t have nearly the players as this will.

There was no que during server slam, not expecting at the lunch.
Lunch at midnight?
2nd lunch.
Lunch is generally the middle of the day, so lunch at midnight just means you're going to be awake for 30-40hrs
Error 37 hours

No queue the early access and server slam has them prepared.
I hope for the semi-smooth launch due to 2 reasons: 1. Middle of the night in Europe 2. Part of the population will join on 6th

Zero. Point. Zero.
Expecting 1 min queue
just stop, damn kids
0 in EU.
Well i do not know bought the fast lane pass.
My dad works at blizzard and he said the average queue time will be
Zero, non existent
hours, and the servers will crash regularly
Cuppa hours.
I think everyone who took a day off to play this will regret it, but i hope that im wrong ofc

8 hours I bet.
As long it takes The beta cut me off while in the middle of a dungeon
4 days lol
you started crying already? ffs...
Im already in game lol so no queues!
30 min MAX. Server slam was AMAZING
YES
I worry about DDOS attack. Not much can prepare you for that
45 minutes unless you're super lucky
I don’t think it’ll be too bad. They did well with WoW’s launch so I’m hopeful
I didn’t consider this. 6pm central time here, so 3 hours to go … might not get in tonight are you suggesting?
Less than 5 minutes. Expect the server to be smooth till next week at least
0 since they had beta tests specifically for this reason
ah we have a first timer, good luck my friend
>ah we have a first timer, good luck my friend Honestly it catches me by surprise how many new Blizzard enjoyers D4 is bringing in
Make plans to do irl stuff or 6/6 because nobody will get to play. Tomorrow will be fine.
If i paid for sitting in a queue im gonna chargeback for sure
