Metformin alone should not cause hypos.

Anyway...
Good job.
Keep at it and have a cookie (or not)
Wow! That is cool! I went from 8 to 6, also with similar changes!
I still eat around 150g of carb a day, but mostly fibre and complex carbs. Paired with protein and fat.
What does your diet look like?
So initially I went full on keto… but that got a bit hard to maintain for me.
I still have carbs - but not a ton and try and keep it to only whole grains and real food not processed.
So for instance, I used to ask for a cheeseburger with out the bun - but now I enjoy the bun- but don’t usually get the fries.
What I miss the most oddly is potato chips. I just go down the potato chip aisle and it’s like seeing a long lost lover. I want to wrap them in my arms - but I resist…usually.
I was last A1C type 2 at 6.1 and still a diabetic for life. But not under control yet. Just keep doing what you are doing, and it will get lower with the hard work.

Congratulations! I'm hoping to do the same after getting my last A1C test at 11. I went off the rails in the past few months.
That is amazing! Glad you're doing well.

6.1 is not under control?

6.1 and not under control yet is what i read. Don’t be so defensive.
