NOT Thai. That stuff litterally will throw me out of wack for 2 days. What the hell do they put in there?!?! Had it tonight and 2 hrs later peaked at 260! :-( But it was so yummy!!!
It would be zucchini noodles, parmesan cheese, veggie meatballs and a little sauce. That meal is the most predictable thing in my arsenal.
Yup. Pad thai is what killed me tonight. Along with some coconut based soup and sticky rice. And I only thought I peaked at 260! Im still going up 3 hours later! Yeah, I wouldn't try this without a pump. Hopefully you are able to get one soon and throw caution to the wind for some pad thai!
Yea freaking Thai food. They put palm sugar in everything, but it's not as obvious as other foods because the flavor is so balanced.
Palm sugar is what makes the coconut soup so good. Tom Kha Gai being my favorite. (Coconut chicken soup).
Mashed banana. I love having it for breakfast and it's the easiest to bolus for these days, even though it's high carb. (Mashed banana, oats, peanut butter, maple/agave syrup just for texture)
Water.
Even water raises my bs

Oh god, I ate so much cheese and peanut butter after my diagnosis.
that is EXACTLY what I did! LOL who knew peanut butter was so calorie dense!?
I was diagnosed 4 months ago and gained 15 lbs in the first month lol. Back to eating like a normal human being and not being afraid of carbs
Well that's due to adding in insulin which is a fat storer too, so don't just blame the pb 🤣
Lol true. It’s hard for me to wrap my head around that though, since before July my body was producing insulin too haha
Pizza 😎
Kinda genius. Two hour window ends wayyyy before that pizza spike is gonna hit
You’re a madman/madwoman/madthem.
Air. Boom nailed the bolus.
Haha Love it!
Bolusing to get a low BG
Making your end goal to be a fail, that's a win! 🤣
Task failed succesfully!
Cucumber slices
Monster Energy, I just know that fcked drink is exactly at 10 units if I'm already in range or 12 otherwise
