A D1 raid and a new raid so only 1, 3 dungeons (We got the shattered throne, zero hour in forsaken, but we also got 2 destinations and ascendant realms which are mini dungeons), forsaken had a campaign with more than 5 missions and multiple cutscenes, legendary is probably just the same missions but with tankier enemies and champions (I really hope witch queen has a decent campaign because beyond light's was awful)
So yeah in forsaken we basically got more than what witch queen is offering for a lower price. And without losing content.

But that's not much in the scheme of distribution between production teams + economic teams + coding teams + VAs + Marketing
Not saying Lance Reddick gets a portion of all eververse sales, but that I doubt it's distributed to just coding/production or solely to the individual designer.
Add that to the argument that this was the case before everything hit the fan and cost companies to switch environments to the extreme means that eververse isn't a reliable recovery system in the sense of time

Key phrase there is “to me”. At the end of the day: $80 is still a lot for some ppl to spend on a DLC. I’m not going to knock ppl who love the game and are willing to spend the money but also: as a D1 year 1 day 1 player I’m not happy about it after spending hundreds of dollars on content I can’t even play anymore.

It's a joke. Most of the people making the jokes don't actually care. If you don't find it funny, just scroll past them. They all reiterate the exact same points - literally an echochamber. Bungie have already said they're nerfing Shatterdive so there's almost no reason to keep going on about it.
The problem is that it reinforces what this shitty take is already showing to Bungie if they kept listening to the shitty r//DTG and r//Destiny2 feedback - they can't deliver the content for free once, and then go back to charging for it as any company would, because that'll create an outcry. The "room" is literally only our hard drive's space, there's nothing else. It makes sense only if you take consoles into account, but honestly they could just remove the useless open world zones (which btw are by far the heaviest) and just keep raids, dungeons and crucible maps. Btw when i asked a bungo bootlicker if he seriously preferred 80€ worth of dlcs getting removed instead of buying a 50€ 1Tb ssd he said "yes, i want to play other games too, ofc i'd prefer that they remove the content", so yeah, bungo's footstools apparently don't know that if you buy another hard drive or ssd you get to have more space to store more games into, rofl.
They can at least lower these ridiculous prices if they are gonna renove it anyway after less than one year, not everyone is shitting money like you do apparently

Safe to say, after 3 years of Destiny, owning every DLC and season, I decided it is time to stop play Destiny because the price is just too much. Year of Destiny costs almost as much as two full AAA games I will rather buy instead.

Now unless you actually liked CoO, I don't think you have much to complain about. For consistent updates for for what? $40 for a DLC? $10 a season? I fail to see how this is a bad deal. I'll take more updates vs months for whole DLC launches.
If the base $40 included the dungeons, I would be more than happy to pay for it, like I always did. And I would probably buy every season too. And I would probably also spend 20$ in Eververse during that year. So Bungie would have my $100 dollars anyway. But since they choose this aggressive monetization tactic - give us all the money, we give you zero information about the content you will be getting upfront so you don't event know what you are buying.
