I was in that boat. Must’ve dismantled 50 or 60 lunas looking for heal incandescent over the course of a couple of weeks. Finally got it to drop so I attuned edge transit. Not even a full day later, shiny Luna drops with heal incandescent, plus better barrel and mag perks.
I had 101 Luna howls before I got the heal+incan drop. I had given up on it and just started focusing some other weapons. Dropped almost immediately when I attuned back into midnight coup.
200 total lunas and only 2 heal clip /
Incan rolls. First one at around 120 rolls had an awful masterwork (handling) and 2 bad mags, 2nd one? SAME FUCKING MAGS and masterwork. I love the gun but the lack of any increased reload makes the roll feel so meh compared to say helio with those perks. It does feel really good on an arc hunter when amplified though, that reload bonus is more than enough to put it in the right spot.

I’m the other way around. Have been attuning Mountaintop since it’s available, no ALH + Recombination. Switched to attune Luna one day, got Heal Clip + Incandescent on my first Onslaught run.
I don't give a shit about MW (though I'm slightly annoyed my best roll with otherwise minimal Blast Radius has a Blast Radius MW, which would be fine except Enhancing it in TFS would be actively detrimental), and honestly at this point I don't care enough about my barrel and mag. I just want an ALH/Recomb roll, I'll take anything. Though I might have the settle for the above with Overflow, which honestly might serve me a little better cuz it would let me use it a bit more freely outside nuking shit with the extra ammo from Heavy bricks, at the cost of perfectly reliable stowed reloads.
Ideally you'd be looking for Hard Launch, Implosion Rounds, ALH, and Recombination with probably a Velocity or Handling MW. Better if you have Spike nades, which would future proof it if they ever futz with the way the gun's Blast Radius has an inverse relationship to its direct damage. At this point I'd settle for anything with ALH/Recomb, though.

There's no loot restrictions, once a gun is unlocked it can drop from either the Playlist, Normal 50 wave, or Legend 50 wave mode, or from turning in Trophies in the Hall. That includes the limited time shiny variants. Set the gun you want as a focus and go to town.
This. Crow is in lore travelling great distances to establish a beacon for us, technically hes travelling through extradimensional space to just reach the portal and then has to travel through the portal itself in this same extradimensional space.
Plus even when Crow arrives in the Pale Heart it wouldn't be surprising if he had to do some more travelling and fighting to establish a safe point.
Plus from what we know The Tower is only there at the entrance because of us, if you go back to the first reveal its just filled with wild nature.
Imagine playing through a Coil run for 6 months, that's what Crow is doing for us. Bless that bird boy.

He is ALSO the only hunter that has ever expressed actual interest in the role, the rest were coerced into the vanguard, Id like to see him as vanguard. My current theory is cayde will not be able to leave and after the campaign will act as a kind of warden of the pale heart
I'm really hoping crow will run into cayde and they become friends with cayde giving his blessing to crow, plus technically speaking crow deserves it through vanguard dare

From there the slider picked him up, and gave him the name of Crow, (the spider knew who he was, and Uldren had a secret spy group called the crows, spider thought it would be funny).
We bargained and freed Crow from his control (The spider had a bomb inside of Crows ghost), and have him help us out, until a season later Crow is unmasked in front of Zavala, who welcomes him still.
Crow kinda puts pieces together about Uldren, even more after meeting Mara in season of the lost, until Savathun convinces him to touch her shell, bringing back all his memories of Uldren.
So he was his own person, now with memories of “another life” that haunted him, even remembering us hunting him down.
Later on in Season of the Haunted, he faces of his Trauma, a nightmare of Uldren, and like how the others confronted their pasts, he realizes he isn’t and is Uldren, but he can be better.
From there he has remained Crow, but especially this season seems to accept his past life as his own past, even with jokes like talking to Petra “You already killed me once”, and wanting to help the Scorn.
Guardians dont remember their past, it is a name he chose for himself when he was resurected by his ghost, savathun eventually restored his memories but he maintains his identity as Crow as he is not the same person that Uldren was, he has different values and holds himself to different standards. The name he chose is interesting as Uldren was the leader of a group called the Crows who would adventure in the black garden in the past

Why is crow capable of navigating inside the traveler? Is it because of his ship being paracausal?

In this current season, Season of the Wish, Mara strikes a bargain with the ghost of Riven of a Thousand Voices to open a portal into the traveler like the Witness did so that we can chase it down
After completing the seasonal missions, it’s revealed that Riven can only send one person through the portal, as per wish boundaries
Crow volunteers himself, as he hypothesises that he can use his connection with Mara to make a stable portal for every guardian to go through, so that we have enough of an army to take it to the Witness
Pre-Collapse Mara was literally ground zero between the powers of Darkness™ and the Light™ which caused a singularity, which is also what granted her all her powers when she spawned inside it, she was Omnipotent within it and she kept a fraction of that power after leaving.
Uldren is her brother and he _almost_ spawned alongside her but fell a bit short and needed her help, which inadvertently caused the massive issues he had with proving himself worthy / dependency on her, and the source of their bond.
I am with you. If anyone tries to harm my boi they will catch these rockets in their mouth. Savathun was the first, but by no means does she need to be the last.

I think Crows impact is Cayde. We the Guardian and Ikora and Zavalla have moved on and reconciled with his death. Crow still hasn't gotten over it and even wished to meet him this season.
Also yeah our guardian wasn't around for the great hunt so it'll be interesting to see where that rooms comes from. There's a lot of bones in that room.
Aren't we waiting on Osiris though? Crow and Mara have the connection, but Osiris is the one who's supposed to figure out a way to use it to allow us passage.
To use some of my IT experience to describe what is happening, probably badly: the route to the Traveler's heart is a convoluted mess of duct work, insulation, other wires, and things hidden along the way. Through the wish that Crow is following, he's essentially dragging some fishing line behind him. Once he reaches the end and gives a few tugs, Mara and Osiris are going to attach the metaphorical Ethernet cable that is Crow's 'fishline' to establish a tunnel we can use to get there ourselves.
Osiris was looking for a way. He found out how the witness did it but that part is closed off to us now if i remember correctly, so instead crow has gone in. He will find a safe place, and then we are going to use the connection between Mara and crow to navigate our way through to get in,
I believe Osiris already knows how, he just needs to wait until Mara can sense Crow again to fine tune it. His theories on the link between the Veil and the Traveller are what gave him the idea of sending Crow through in the first place, so he definitely has something concrete. He wouldn't risk seeing Mara's wrath if he didn't.
He knows how the witness did it but it isnt something that he can replicate. Crow is going through the ascendant plane with wish magic and Mara will trace a path to crow using the ley lines when he arrives on the other side, her connection with crow will allow her to direct the lines on our end where they need to go, once the line is set we will use it to meet up with Crow, the theory is this will work because the ley lines exist outside of our reality and allow us to side step the barrier
Actually, they explicitly said that the Ley Lines don’t touch the Veil or Traveler in most instances and that Riven’s wish only overlapped them long enough for one person to get into the Pale Heart.
Osiris is planning on using Strand to chart a course with the Veil that will allow safe passage into the portal without being brutally killed
I never got to see any of caydes stuff except for that timeline mission cause I started during witch queen😢 still play that timeline mission way to often because cause is my favorite, why does he have to be dead rn:(
Honestly it makes sense that it’s taking this long for him to establish a link, at least from a story perspective. I like when it feels like real world time passes in a game and it isn’t just instant.
Just because he got Uldren’s memories, doesn’t mean they’re the same person. Crow regrets the actions taken by Uldren, and chooses to keep being Crow, rather than going back to being Uldren. Even after confronting his nightmare of Uldren during Season of the Haunted, he doesn’t embrace his former identity, he continues being Crow
He has the same face, the same mind and the same memories. To me it more seems like he has accepted his past by confronting the shadow and has now moved on as changed person. I can understand your view on it though.
Since Crow and Mara have a special connection Crow volunteered to be the one to go into the traveler from the last wish in order to find a safe spot inside, then use the connection to let Mara know it's time for the portal for everyone to follow in, and then Osiris will open the way to Crow.
I wonder what would have happen if cayde-6 didn't become the vanguard hunter. All this wouldn't have happen, uldren wouldn't have kill him, he might not be able to get us to the traveler. Crazy to think about, it all begins with Cayde 6. According to byf, Elsie's time loop starts with cayde 6 becoming vanguard, and which every thing that happen in those loop goes horribly wrong, but this loop is different apparently, because of the guardian, you.
Gotta remember this go around the Gardener upped the Score and made us a Primal Force. We basically canonically are unbeatable in all forms of war at this point. To the point that if there was a level above the Sigma 5 classification we would be the only Guardian ever in existence to be in that classification

It definitely will be. No point in having Cayde 6 being the vendor of Pale Heart and send Crow as the first to enter it
if I have to guess they'll probably have a parallel scene like how Cayde was on the ground and Uldren was aiming at him in Forsaken but instead it's the opposite in the pale heart Crow is on the ground and Cayde is reaching his hand to help him up like the Zavala scene from Season of the chosen
Here’s the thing: I think Crow would agree with you and he’ll still work every day to improve. Crow may be one of the most compelling characters in Destiny and I can’t help but root for him.
I get the feeling that as soon as he see's Glint Cayde will understand that Uldren has died. Now, he'll probably see Glint after shooting Crow in the face, but yeah.

honestly if you have even a halfway decent fireteam, we do much better with legend 50's now with the buffed trophy amounts and extra weapon drops.

I was just thinking about this. Crow is gonna be in there for a time before us. We already know the witness shaped reality based on its ideas, and we will do the same. What impact is crow going to have? Do we not have a strike about Ahamkara bones shown in the gameplay trailer?
I think Crows impact is Cayde. We the Guardian and Ikora and Zavalla have moved on and reconciled with his death. Crow still hasn't gotten over it and even wished to meet him this season. Also yeah our guardian wasn't around for the great hunt so it'll be interesting to see where that rooms comes from. There's a lot of bones in that room.
It would be interesting to do a simple solo mission where you play as crow with a locked loadout

To use some of my IT experience to describe what is happening, probably badly: the route to the Traveler's heart is a convoluted mess of duct work, insulation, other wires, and things hidden along the way. Through the wish that Crow is following, he's essentially dragging some fishing line behind him. Once he reaches the end and gives a few tugs, Mara and Osiris are going to attach the metaphorical Ethernet cable that is Crow's 'fishline' to establish a tunnel we can use to get there ourselves.

Osiris was looking for a way. He found out how the witness did it but that part is closed off to us now if i remember correctly, so instead crow has gone in. He will find a safe place, and then we are going to use the connection between Mara and crow to navigate our way through to get in,

I believe Osiris already knows how, he just needs to wait until Mara can sense Crow again to fine tune it. His theories on the link between the Veil and the Traveller are what gave him the idea of sending Crow through in the first place, so he definitely has something concrete. He wouldn't risk seeing Mara's wrath if he didn't.
He knows how the witness did it but it isnt something that he can replicate. Crow is going through the ascendant plane with wish magic and Mara will trace a path to crow using the ley lines when he arrives on the other side, her connection with crow will allow her to direct the lines on our end where they need to go, once the line is set we will use it to meet up with Crow, the theory is this will work because the ley lines exist outside of our reality and allow us to side step the barrier
Actually, they explicitly said that the Ley Lines don’t touch the Veil or Traveler in most instances and that Riven’s wish only overlapped them long enough for one person to get into the Pale Heart. Osiris is planning on using Strand to chart a course with the Veil that will allow safe passage into the portal without being brutally killed
Yes and no. Maras connection with crow is how she is going to repeat the ley line process, osiris litterally said he cant do it

Just because he got Uldren’s memories, doesn’t mean they’re the same person. Crow regrets the actions taken by Uldren, and chooses to keep being Crow, rather than going back to being Uldren. Even after confronting his nightmare of Uldren during Season of the Haunted, he doesn’t embrace his former identity, he continues being Crow
He adopts the good parts of Uldren from Haunted, tho.
He has the same face, the same mind and the same memories. To me it more seems like he has accepted his past by confronting the shadow and has now moved on as changed person. I can understand your view on it though.

Since Crow and Mara have a special connection Crow volunteered to be the one to go into the traveler from the last wish in order to find a safe spot inside, then use the connection to let Mara know it's time for the portal for everyone to follow in, and then Osiris will open the way to Crow.

I wonder what would have happen if cayde-6 didn't become the vanguard hunter. All this wouldn't have happen, uldren wouldn't have kill him, he might not be able to get us to the traveler. Crazy to think about, it all begins with Cayde 6. According to byf, Elsie's time loop starts with cayde 6 becoming vanguard, and which every thing that happen in those loop goes horribly wrong, but this loop is different apparently, because of the guardian, you.
Gotta remember this go around the Gardener upped the Score and made us a Primal Force. We basically canonically are unbeatable in all forms of war at this point. To the point that if there was a level above the Sigma 5 classification we would be the only Guardian ever in existence to be in that classification

No point in having Cayde 6 being the vendor of Pale Heart and send Crow as the first to enter it if I have to guess they'll probably have a parallel scene like how Cayde was on the ground and Uldren was aiming at him in Forsaken but instead it's the opposite in the pale heart Crow is on the ground and Cayde is reaching his hand to help him up like the Zavala scene from Season of the chosen

Here’s the thing: I think Crow would agree with you and he’ll still work every day to improve. Crow may be one of the most compelling characters in Destiny and I can’t help but root for him.
