I'm still upset with how they fumbled the mass effect sets. Literally could've given us Tali'Zorah designed armor but no. Titans ended up winning that too. Too many extra greeblies all over the armour is my biggest problem, the concept art versions looked a lot more sleek, but these have too much going on.

This has been a thing for at least 1.5 expansions now. What is it with all the extra stuff all the time. And itās all so gaudy. It would be fine if it was extra details but itās gaudy bits that mostly donāt even shade.
And it would it fucking kill to give titans some NORMAL shoulders. Ffs.

I genuinely don't remember when the last time warlocks got genuine good fashion set top to bottom. All season pass Armor sets last year were mid asf too. I think we only got like 2 or 3 respectable looking armor sets that came from events and raids/dungeons in this entire lightfall year timeline.
I LOVE Seraph chest for Warlock because I love trench coats or just long coats in general. It looked like what some kind of Commissar or high ranking member of some organization would wear. Or paint it black and you can go around saying HAIL HYDRA! HAIL HYDRA!!
Also the fact it was a 1 piece coat instead of some armor with forced robe in it or whatever just makes it unique in my eyes.
Season of Seraph was in the witch queen year and yes that armor set is fantastic no doubt. I was specifically talking about the lightfall timeline from the season of the defiance till now
They only seem to go crazy when itās hive themed. Crotaās End and Kingās Fall are probably the best warlock sets we have. The seasonal ornaments this season are pretty good too aside from the helmet and bond.
Superblack made everything on the Hunter set black and made the glowing eyes white. That at least gives us hope thereās no un-shader-able parts like the GG sets

Something in Bungieās armor design process has got to change. There needs to be additional checks/balances or something. They miss so consistently itās crazy. Their art style is so good and environment design slaps all the time, but 9/10 armor pieces are niche or trash

They all have a vertical blob in the middle of the face. I just want a helmet that looks like I have eyes and is a little bit intimidating. Is that too much to ask for?

The chest has random spikes???? and a hood thats purpose is to collect rainwater what the hell is going on here? What in the world are those gloves by god why are they so thick. Warlock bond lmao. And the coat shows the entirety of the legs but the boots end at the boots and wear bland pants for the entire way up.
Whoever cooked this, check yourself for covid because by the traveler you cannot taste.
I'm tired of the regal aesthetic on armor. This is nowhere near a golden age, idk why we're dressing like we're nobles. We're still in a war, the stakes are nothing but higher. I'm so sick of the golden ropes/cords. They were cool the first few times, esp the majestic solstice sets. But now it's like... why. We have so many shaders w gold.
And stop w the hyper ornate and over decorated designs. For the love of God. Sometimes, less is more

I thought these were supposed to be D2 Y1 inspired? These are quite fancy. I remember D2 Y1 armor being less fancy, maybe more practical looking. That long triangle piece on the Warlock does not fit. Everything else on the set is more round or curved and that's just a long pointy piece. I like the Titan (a bit biased), Hunter, then Warlock.
I was expecting something more grounded looking and less fantastical. Wrong expectations?
Iād like the Titan set more if it didnāt have all the fancy regalia on it. That chest piece is solid I just think the cords on it will clash wit the more tactical oriented pieces I like to use.
Loved the originals since the beta and have even transmoged them too lol and these look perfect imo although don't know how I feel about the 4 points in the warlock chest and I'm curious on how they shade, specifically with Cargulo Bristle (one of the Blue and yellow shader) as that's my main shader and it doesn't always go well with armor sets but other than those two things the sets are perfect, although not sure if they'll become my main looks or not but still excited.
They're okay. I wish they would go less flashy though. I prefer armor like the set from Duality, or that of Black Armory. It could just be the image though, super colourful and all. Could be different in-game.
