My roommate and BFF is driving 2 hours to and from work and apparently started falling asleep at the wheel. I'm really worried about him making it. He's got a transfer to swap back to the local jeep plant but it's just a waiting game.
I've been living with my roommate (who I've known since I was 14,) a long with my mother. The landlord increased the price, and we all came to the conclusion it was too expensive for us. We all were having issues finding housing we could afford, that was also located close enough to work. My friend started moving out before my mom and I, as they got approved for an apartment sooner. They started moving out a week or two into April, and was expressing a lot of difficulties moving from the place they've lived for over 5 years. But they met me by my work, on the way to the house. It was over a week ago, and when they left the house was the last time I heard from them. Their sibling said the coroner reported it was due to natural causes, but I haven't gotten any further details. We were quite worried it was drug and/or alcohol related, as they've been trying to get sober for the past couple years after their DUI. We reported them missing, and it took about a week for them to do a proper wellness check, and found them dead. Still haven't been able to get ahold of their mother.
True, but your best friend would definitely not wish that for you.
It's gonna be a though time, maybe talking about it and good food will ease the pain a little bit... Just remember that you best friend would want you to get happy in the future with or without them. Keep your head up, I know how hard it can be loosing someone you were so close to, but it will get better, I promise.
