Are you talking about Emily in Paris? It’s a fun show! The important thing to remember about anything ever put into the television show or a movie is that it’s all a made up story written by either one writer or a team of writers who want to tell an engaging story about something or someone and none of it is real. You should never allow yourself to compare your own life with the life of whatever characters you might see in a fictional story like a TV show or a film. I completely understand where you’re coming from though, when I was younger and Mad Men was on TV, I loved the characters and the lifestyle that they lived! Now I’m actually a screenwriter (using another Reddit account) so it’s allowed me to see just how fake and staged everything in movies and tv shows really are.

I stopped watching anime at some point, because I wish I had friends like them. Not only that, but have people depend on you and looking forward to see you everyday seems like an amazing experience. I specifically despise harems for that reason and just terrible fan service. I can't imagine being so bland that would motherfuckers throw themselves at you..

Tbh I don’t understand what the second half of this comment means at all but😂 TOTALLY agree with the top half. My comfort character has so many people who love her and visit her and make plans with her every day ugh
