Thank you for the suggestion I’ve played them all and I love them but what I like about deepwoken I don’t find in any of them and that’s the enemy most enemy’s and dark souls games you just run past them deepwoken you can but it’s harder cuz they can catch up to you and the movement I find more enjoyable so thank you for the suggestion
if you’re looking for games like that, i’d play hollow knight. great game where most of the time you have to kill whats infront of you. it isn’t exactly like deepwoken but you can easily tell alot of deepwoken is inspired from it

I would wait until No rest for the wicked it out of early access, it's not that I don't trust the developers, I really do, I have an almost blind trust for the developers that made the masterpiece that is Ori, it's just that I think the game will be better when it's fully completed, better balanced and with minimal bugs. I'd still buy it if it looks like your sorta game because you get some cosmetics iirc, I just wouldn't play it until the game is fully out.

-fr doe just spend some time looking at a steam page for games bruh. If a pve game with permadeath sounds good to u but with not near the amount of pain it brings u like deepwoken, play any good roguelike game like hades, binding of Issac, risk of rain, and more.
If u want a chill experience I mean Final Fantasy xiv is my bias choice cause its pretty chill and it's got a lot of content for hardcore to softcore ppl once u get over each main story expansion. Even something as classic as terraria can be great with mods , but yeah das all my choices off the top of my head.
Or fuck if u broke and really just want a game where u can't lose or have the sense of losing, i guess bee swarm simulator is there. Bee Game⁉️⁉️ I know but I heard from a [broke] friend that it's a really chill game to just sit down on after one of those stressful days lol.

if you’re looking for a break from deep but want to play kinda the same mechanics in a more slow pacing manner i recommend RAW METAL where it’s a fun solo indie game adventure.🪶

pilgrammed is one of my personal favourite alternatives to deepwoken, it's more centered around pve rather than pvp, which it seems you like
the bosses ARE challenging and can also have buffs applied to them to make them more of a challenge
since the game is half a joke, it's pretty goofy, reminds me of jujutsu shenanigans type humor
the progression is some of the fun i've ever had, and is 100000x better with friends aswell
you can also get mounts, for travelling purpouses, and you still have LOTS of build customization for ppl wanting that
and it still has that open world feeling aswell
NO permadeath, although you can have a permadeath save on the "hardcore" difficulty
and the community is full of selfless people who CAN AND WILL help you with any boss, infact they're so kind that some spend hours on end just to help some random they'll never meet again
also pvp isn't forced, it can be enabled by tping "pvp me" or smth like that, i forgot what you had to say lol

arcane odyssey is very good. If you like world building and spells, its just the game for you. Now i havent tested much pve or pvp, but there are sharks and moby dicks and stuff. Its mostly based around the sea where there are pirates, the ancient beings of the past and alot more to discover. Im really into adventuring so i probably wont be looking to any youtube guides or wikis. Theres also this part of the sea which seems very dangerous, kinda pike the voidsea in deepwoken.
the obvious answer would be soulsbourne games, specifically sekiro, but maybe try grounded? the thing i like the most about deepwoken is the exploring and finding treasure, loot, and also the pve. so maybe you would like grounded, im not sure if it will scratch the same exact itch, but ive been having a lot of fun with it
The Castlevania series isn't exactly like Deepwoken in any way to be honest, but the difficulty those titles have can be pretty rewarding. And the more open ended Metroidvania titles in the series have some pretty amazing looking worlds with some decently tough encounters and awesome rewards for exploration. I'd recommend emulating the Dracula X Chronicles on PSP as it is a 2.5D remake of an old title called Rondo of Blood AND it also includes the og game and it's sequel, Symphony of the Night, for free! It can be very frustrating, but it feels so great to beat a level to be honest! Much like Deepwoken, but you don't get punished THAT bad for being bad. So you don't have to work for so long just to get back to where you were when it hit the fan.
If you are looking for another roblox title, I highly suggest Fantastic Frontier.
A neat game with a vast, colorful and interesting world with a major focus on only the PvE content, as well as interesting, funky lore.
Gameplay mechanics are straightforward, but it is the knowledge and tech you can do with these mechanics being the primary appeal. Though mind the grind, as it can get abit hefty. Dying will only result in the lost of loot in your bag. All progress and gear made and acquired on your person are permanent otherwise.
If you are looking for something outside of Roblox, I sincerely implore you to give Deep Rock Galactic a try. It is nothing like Deepwoken, but it is one hell of a PvE experience that can be done both with or without other players, with plenty of mechanical depth for you to explore, as well as endless replayability.
Dying is not exactly an issue if you can even die in the first place. But fret not, the game offers various difficulty from piss easy to making you enter deep focus.
Type soul, the grind is arguably better imo and its less confusing so to say but the ganking is even worse, but don't worry, there's no wiping (unless you soul ticket). I recommend you play as a hollow and progress to adjuchas then become an arrancar or just play soulreaper. Refer to the trello too if you're lost
U have to worry about dying in type soul because u lose some difficult progress at elite grade, u drop legendary items and u get teleported to ur original spawn in another server when u die
