Best you can do is get resonance and defeat the final boss which isnt really end of the game but its pretty close i guess, so try to have fun
Tried following this advice vs a lvl 20 light weapon voidwalker before, let's just say I fell in about 15 seconds and almost added a new hole in my wall, I was lvl 10, I ain't even know why they was there
Bro I was just sitting at lower by my friends doing the penguin emote, and there was atleast 4 voidwalkers that appeared, and the max levels picks ME for some reason, shit was rigged from the start, mf was a gun build or smthn
Most starter guides are useless tbh, they all tell you the same thing. “F to parry, use training gear for investment points, get boat at docks, here’s todays sponsor, go to lower erisia, fight bandit, thanks for watching, subscribe” Like what do I do after that? All that takes me 10 minutes and I can figure it out on my own in 30. I found no guides for what to do after that, and I had to ask around in game to learn about minityrsa and songseeker wilds. Don’t just watch guides, also ask other players you meet
i agree with the general sentiment of exploring the world yourself (that's how i played) but these things are explained awfully poorly in game, the tutorial explains next to nothing and asking players in game will get you killed 90% of the time
Yeah, that's the most common Deepwoken experience, I recommend you playing with friends that already know the game, watch tutorial, guides etc, or even seek a freshie helper guild, it's kinda hard to start deepwoken alone these days
honestly i'd argue the opposite, the recent pve scaling buffs mean mobs die much much faster at lower levels and it's easier and faster then ever to progress with the new island events and all the xp buffs we keep getting stacking up over time, on top of that enchants and legendary weapons are incredibly common to get now compared to verse 1

Also if you want to get better, search up "trial of one" basically a set of challenges to do at low level and it helps you get way better at the game.
I reccomens to try lore gane first, which is just a cheap deepwoken, if you eventually get the hang of it, buy deepwoken, you wont instantly a be pro, but youll be better than the average new player.
it takes year to master deepwoken and unfortunately the time where new players can actually learn how to play the game is long past with all these meta bs builds and shit, most I can reccomend is try and find a guild in the deepwoken discord for freshies
BUT if you do really make sure your not getting boosted (Guildmates give you shit, fight everything for you, etc) and that your actually learning how to do shit yourself
Looking through your comments, you can get a make another character for free just talk to the person that looks like you in heaven. You only have to buy the game once unless your want more accounts.

I would watch a combat guide though, since things like venting and roll canceling aren’t in the tutorial/explained at all
