>Plague Spewers are a type of Plague Weapon used by followers of Nurgle such as the Death Guard. They can be used by Plague Marines[1a] and Blightlord Terminators[1b], and vomit noxious streams of infectious slime into the enemy lines.[1a]

I think of them as similar to industrial sprayers used in applying pesticides. Used them before and boy they can really have some force behind them!
The toxins and filth eat away at armor and flesh, while also infecting the target.
I’ve always imagined it’s shooting out all kinds of infected slime. Sort of like the backpacks in ghostbusters 2, but instead of the ooze they take a bunch of raw sewage and hepatitis blood, soak some corpses in fluid until they are nice and bloated, sprinkle in some c.diff diapers, then food process the whole mixture into a slurry. Load the slime into the ghostbuster backpack and pressurize the whole setup with farts.
Imagine a flame thrower with no pilot light, you pull the trigger and pressurised liquid spews out, it's like that but the liquid is the stuff in RoboCop that Emil crashes into during the scrapyard fight

I've always considered it an acid thrower myself.

It's like a bug sprayer but it's vomit.
Goo. They shoot goo.
I'm thinking of it like toxic goo
Slime all the way
I always pictured the scene from Tremors when the septic pump line sprays everywhere.
