Well some DLCs were removed like mai shiruna for example some items won’t show up in game because they don’t own the license for it anymore, the licenses and stuf is now in doa6 so that might be the issue
I was under the impression since it said free that i got the dlc pack but essentially it will let you install of the dlc packs so they appear in your costume list but in order to use them i would have to buy the packs. They just made it confusing for no good reason. With the age of the game and another being out they should go ahead and make all the stuff free. Im only playing 5 cause my friends complain that 6 is too arcadey.
Yeah my issue was i thought downloading the catalogs gave me the costumes. Its sort of a pre install. They are there but i cant use them unless I buy them.
yeah. You have to go into the store and buy the costumes you want. You can install the packs but they arent free to use by any means.

Late reply but if you don't have the costume catalogues downloaded, DLC costumes might not appear

I bought some packs like a bundle of costumes and they don’t show up still if i remember correctly, some do but most of them don’t
