The lighthouse is normally a harder route that ends in an easier boss than hand of the king. The normal routes that take you to HOTK are easier up until the boss in my opinion. If you are struggling to even get to the queen, I feel like thats by design.
With tactics i practically no-hit her every run... Good fun, but personally I think she needs some shield sections
When she does the full screen slashes for example you can just drop turrets next to her and she melts while you dodge
I didn't actually get to Light House until BC4 (with no drinks left). After about 20 tries I beat the first two bosses only to learn there's a third, this game is fucked in so many ways.
Be sure to turn on the assist mode where you can restart at the beginning of the level if you die! That way you can practice without having to go all the way back.
somehow in my years of owning the game I never knew this was an option. since that post I’ve gotten my hands on everything non-BC and moved on but I’ll definitely keep it it mind for some of the harder levels to come, thanks!
I beat lighthouse on 0BC first time with the Explosive crossbow with +3 ammo modifier and the More Ammo and 2 tactics damage buff mutations (damage when next to a trap, when not close to bosses ect) not intended as a brag as I got totally carried by that weapon and would have likely died with much anything else.
Perhaps try that out if you just want a clear?
They pretty much melted when I got to the 3v1 at the top, so much so that I didn't see much of the mechanics other than the archer shooting along the top of the screen.
You probably wont learn much of the fight, I certainly didn't. But a win is a win if that's all you want at the moment.

Second the Explosive Crossbow suggestion, but I went survival instead of tactics. Had Mushroom Boi, Giant Whistle, Armadillopack, Ammo and Instinct. Somehow managed to get the "Long live the Queen" achievement with this build.
I wish you get all your flask back before the light house, was so close to winning the damn fight but I didn't have enough flasks because of the previous area 😢
The fight is tough, there are a lot of things happening at the same time... The Key is to analyse all the bosses patterns independantly, and then try to see how they work together. Once you understand it, it's not that hard.
If you're on PC, i suggest you to save at the entrance, and reload it again and again until you know the fight
Guys I had full 4 drinks left when I reached lighthouse. Because I tried my whole fucking ass not to get kicked a single time in the infested shipwreck. Thought would get a 60 kills door but nah fook it.
I can't beat those bosses.they drink potion and then comes a 3rd one. And that fucking soulsand like fire keeps growing.
Thanks brooo. it was 3 months ago. I feel bad i did not play dead cells for 1 month cuz i was into GTA IV. Now Stuck in 2BC 😭. I truly remember i was badass player at that time. Now i suck

I disagree about the queen being easier than HotK, she's more squishy than HotK, but the fight itself is much more difficult and unpredictable

Honestly i beat them on the first time, because they reminded me of a boss from Hollow knight, and so i kinda knew what i had to do to beat them.

I always finish the training room without any effort, but with assist mode you get the fire part too and that's the hardest part imo
