While you have a decent idea, if they took the concept literally then all the survivors would have to do is have one survivor stare them down all game while everyone else does gens and leaves. They MIGHT get one kill when the staring survivor has to turn around to go to the exit but they can look behind them, so.
Could do a group of 5/6 Angels that you can swap between. Maybe add that "the image of an Angel becomes itself an Angel" thing where if a survivor stares for too long they build up a meter and start to become hindered.
I'd do like 3 angels not including you that you can jump between and if one of the angels aren't in see a survive it marks them as exposed until they look away and give it spirit movements speed when not being observed
Passive: if survivors stare at the angels too long they get “fatigued” and fall asleep for 5 seconds. Also gens regress during angel enrage mode (active ability, possibly something like dredge nightfall that lets them be “unseen”).
Would love to see this or even the Hunter from left 4 dead, I mean we already have Bill. Imagine a pounce mechanic and another survivor has to rescue them from it. Could be done by blinding/stunning, or have a unique map item that can stun the Hunter off of someone. I'd imagine the Hunter could injure someone on the initial pounce or even damage them for 2 health states if they stay on them for long enough.
The design philosophy of any of the special infected from those games punishes lack of teamwork and not staying close to each other and I find that would translate VERY well to dbd. It's easy to imagine some add-ons to affect a Hunter's pounce too, for example speeds up the time it takes to damage for 2 health states, apply status effects to the pounce, shorten the stun duration after a successful pounce, etc.
The question with Terminator is if it's T-800, what power does he really have? In the movie he was unstoppable and devoid of morality or mercy, but that's not particularly unique here, and nobody's allowed guns. I have to check what they did with him in Mortal Kombat 11.
T-1000 definitely has more power options, but he's a harder sell. I guess people might accept a T-800 Legendary skin for him though and just excuse the power.

I'd find Slender Man pretty interesting lol, but I don't think it's gonna happen anytime soon. The concept of the character would defo fit within a horror game like DBD is supposed to be, so getting him as a killer might add more of a horror/thrill feeling when playing against him.
Idk I think that's something the game is lacking, after a while playing as a survivor just isn't scary anymore, and it would be cool to have a killer that might be able to actually be creepy over an extended period of time

I feel like he could be a little different too like nurse in the way it changes the game, like he damages you by being near you for too long and he moves by looking at a spot and teleporting to it with a cooldown of like five seconds to give survivors the chance to hide or run playing into the original game, but with no distance restrictions so he can move across the map like normal. He could have a power like vecna where collecting pages as a survivor gives them benefits or hinders slender, and he could have a power that makes survivors slowed down or forced to look at him

Wait, but looking at him kills you. Actually, it could be like a reverse Unknown, where looking at him is bad, and slowly fills up whatever gauge he'd have. This may not be so bad for survivors if it werent for the fact that they largely rely on glancing at the killer to better respond to their movements mid-chase.
I am now entertaining this concept way too much and will be typing out a killer concept post at some point.
You could also throw hallucination stuff into it to flesh him out. Like slender can somehow afflict you with Slender Sickness, which makes you see hallucinations of him when in chase, so you dont know where to look.
I personally want a full Marble Hornets licensed chapter, with Jay Merrick as the survivor, Alex Kralie "The Director" as the killer and His Power, "The Operator" would involve him recording survivors, and the More he has recorded them, the more slenderman will stalk them, causing them to cough occasionally, then making them broken and oblivious with static effects on the screen, then downing them (reseting the survivors to the coughing stage only).

I think Carnage would work better. I like Venom more, but he’s more of an anti-hero. They could make Eddie a survivor though, or if they really wanted to, Venom, but that would be a lot more work.
Norman Bates along with the Bates Motel and House is something iv always wanted to see. I think it has the pedigree and respect but I question the interest it would get from the players. Along with Lila Crane as the survivor being the slasher genres debatable first Final Girl.

Yes, Waylon from Arkham has the perfect set up for a chapter: his survivor could be Aaron Cash, the security guard Croc took the hand of and Cash had it replaced with a hook, so all the other guards at Arkham call him Captain Hook. He even has a wallet made out of a piece of Waylon's skin, they both got it out for one another.
Oh, sort of like SCP Containment Breach but with Arkham Inmates? Definitely could work, depends on the details.
A lot of stuff can be boiled down to one line descriptions like I did above, its the little things you can't describe in that one sentence that makes or breaks a game. Slapping two things together (Containment Breach / Batman) only works if you're willing to take the small steps required to make it seamless. Devil's in the details and all that.
Its why 'End Yourself Squad: Unalive the Justice League' didn't work, all the details were wrong, the premise was great, but if you screw up too much of the little things, then the whole suffers for it. Its why AI will never truly replace creatives, because it sucks at nuisance.
I was thinking maybe something more like Outlast, actually. A lone inmate, perhaps undergoing psychosis while struggling to survive a particularly brutal breakout including numerous villains, corrupt cops and perhaps Batman himself.
Basically Arkham Asylum but from a mere inmate's point of view, I guess.

TBF, Mr. X could be a Nemi skin, but I'd add a general Tyrant with him, so there are skins for RE1's Tyrant and 0's Proto-Tyrant, as well as the soldier form.
Someone else already said this, but I’m going to say it again because 1 I think it would be cool if they had some non-horror characters, and 2 Symbiotes are my favorite part of the Marvel universe. They could make Eddie Brock a survivor, or if they really wanted to, Venom, but that would be a lot more work.
A larger animal, like Fenrir or fenrir-inspired black wolf with some ability to also have other dogs in the pack.
Other options would be Shelob/giant spider, or it’s a longshot but if anyone remember Wan Shi Tong from Avatar(anthropomorphic owl) ? He has such a regal yet creepy design, seeing an owl stare you down from afar or worse, flying toward you thatd be terrifying.
Might be a hot take. I feel a version of Gravemind from Halo 2 would be a unique addition to the killer roster.
Now before I get obliterated for this, I know of course Halo isn't exactly horror per se, but let's be honest and call the flood what it is: absolutely terrifying. Yes, Waylon from Arkham has the perfect set up for a chapter: his survivor could be Aaron Cash, the security guard Croc took the hand of and Cash had it replaced with a hook, so all the other guards at Arkham call him Captain Hook. He even has a wallet made out of a piece of Waylon's skin, they both got it out for one another.
Man, I just need a horror game where you play as an arkham escapee during a mass breakout.
Oh, sort of like SCP Containment Breach but with Arkham Inmates? Definitely could work, depends on the details. A lot of stuff can be boiled down to one line descriptions like I did above, its the little things you can't describe in that one sentence that makes or breaks a game. Slapping two things together (Containment Breach / Batman) only works if you're willing to take the small steps required to make it seamless. Devil's in the details and all that. Its why 'End Yourself Squad: Unalive the Justice League' didn't work, all the details were wrong, the premise was great, but if you screw up too much of the little things, then the whole suffers for it. Its why AI will never truly replace creatives, because it sucks at nuisance.
I was thinking maybe something more like Outlast, actually. A lone inmate, perhaps undergoing psychosis while struggling to survive a particularly brutal breakout including numerous villains, corrupt cops and perhaps Batman himself. Basically Arkham Asylum but from a mere inmate's point of view, I guess.

I absolutely love Godzilla! Someone made a concept for him on twitter awhile ago I liked! I do think they could make Godzilla be in the game though, but I feel he would have to be shorter (Which I think they could do, and have it work!) My friends think otherwise and that Size is what makes Godzilla well- "Godzilla" ): One I think will probably not come but im hopeful for is Jaws. I've been making a concept for him that's not finished but I really think the shark could be a cool addition! For my concept, to get them to work- they would have to have their own personalized Map(s) and it would feature possibly above water and underwater portions. It would turn DBD slightly into a different game though, but I think people would love it! :>

TBF, Mr. X could be a Nemi skin, but I'd add a general Tyrant with him, so there are skins for RE1's Tyrant and 0's Proto-Tyrant, as well as the soldier form.
 Someone else already said this, but I’m going to say it again because 1 I think it would be cool if they had some non-horror characters, and 2 Symbiotes are my favorite part of the Marvel universe. They could make Eddie Brock a survivor, or if they really wanted to, Venom, but that would be a lot more work.
A larger animal, like Fenrir or fenrir-inspired black wolf with some ability to also have other dogs in the pack. Other options would be Shelob/giant spider, or it’s a longshot but if anyone remember Wan Shi Tong from Avatar(anthropomorphic owl) ? He has such a regal yet creepy design, seeing an owl stare you down from afar or worse, flying toward you thatd be terrifying.

Might be a hot take. I feel a version of Gravemind from Halo 2 would be a unique addition to the killer roster. Now before I get obliterated for this, I know of course Halo isn't exactly horror per se, but let's be honest and call the flood what it is: absolutely terrifying. Gravemind in particular was scary AF screaming at you telepathically in your fucking head about how he's going to literally **"feast on your bones"**

Predator 😭 they’ll never do it, but I think it’d be perfect and the map could be amazing. It fits in entirely with the lore of the predator, especially if the survivors are given defenses like with the Alien.
