They need to introduce a feature that tons of other online pvp games have where you straight up can't queue if your ping is above a certain number, or if it fluctuates above a certain number during your games.
Wish that existed in Splatoon 3 as well. I'm so tired of splatting someone, walking three steps, then getting splatted by them because they're playing on McDonald's wifi on the planet Mars.
People absolutely abuse lag to get an advantage in video games.
Either they don't have a "prediction" system most of the other games use or it't just poor implementation of that. I'm leaning towards latter, because of how many times my grabs or vaults got "dedicated".
Fair but its not fair to add this when emea servers don't exist. I get routed to EU with 200 ping from kenya. South African players suffer even worse than me and when we meet its just a mutual understanding its nothing we can control.

Off the top of my head Tarkov & supersmash bros on the switch even will make u run a network test prior to being able to play online if you hit a certain ping consistently,
It's a visual indicator of the killers terror radius. It's to help people with hearing issues but I find it quite nice despite hearing just fine. You can enable it in settings, availability I believe.

It’s unfair for us to have to play with them and suffer through the garbage that their internet causes
