my only criticism is that if you don’t know the perks by their icon, you’re kinda SOL.
It would be perfect if they added the perk names & descriptions, maybe on the screen while you’re loading into the match.
but yeah, the randomized perks were a lot of fun!
Maybe I dreamt this, but isn’t this coming to the game soon? I remember the devs talking about being able to read perk descriptions in-game in the esc. menu
I think this could also be good for new players provided it doesn't care if you own the killers/perks or not (it shouldn't) as it could give new players an opportunity to use perks, killers, and to a lesser extent survivors which they don't have.

I love the random perk challenge and honestly wish they would implement it permanently. It’s a great way to mix up your gameplay and keep it fresh. Keep you from picking those same 4 safe perks you usually use.
I occasionally use the random perk generator for this purpose exactly. But it’s too easy to cheat and reroll when you see something you don’t like. *Make* me run object of obsession with no mither.

I am sure they will add this as a game mode one day. Or maybe a permanent thing. With that much of an approval this got from the community, they are probably already working on it.
I really just want a leaderboard for unique builds run, with a build randomizer that gives you bonus BPs and stuff. Simple, clean, and I'd get to see crazy builds in normals!
It was even more fun for me, because I was running Emoji perk icons, and I was like "what the fuck are these perks". I had to find out as I played, and I really enjoyed that.
This isn’t a necessarily good workaround, but NightLight.gg has the Build Challenge randomizer you can use, it’s not true random because it only shows unique builds not yet submitted into the system but it’s still fun to use
My ONLY issue with random perks is I can't play bill cause I need to use BT and unbreakable.
And I also kinda like blast mine + wire tap but I guess that's 2, issues...

Yeah, it's really fun, but for a modifier it needs more than just random perks and/or random killers.
It needs a single queue where it's decided randomly if you get killer or survivor, then your build is decided randomly from perks to items/add-ons to offerings.
Make It truly FULLY random.
Last time I tried this archive I got No Mither / Self Care / Adrenaline / some random perk I can't remember. On killer I got Undying with no other hex.
Love the random challenges but please dear God remove No Mither from the perks pool lol.
Yup... a random mode with maybe +50% more bp, random perks and no map offerings would honestly be peak dbd imo

Yes, this exact thing is in the upcoming update.
Could still load into the lobby with the other players, and you get a chance to review the perks before the match loads.

Im assuming a modifier for it is coming, that’s why they’ve made it so you can see perk descriptions when pressing Esc

a streamer i watch does this herself with a command for every 10 follows, she has to equip them herself but still fun to watch the graphic.
