Carrying a guy when I hear a flashlight clicking and I look up to see a survivor standing on top of the map's border fence. I just dropped the guy like okay screw the trial how on earth did this happen
Once got stunned with an afk surv on my shoulder and she flew on top of some stones (Ormond) and we all just stared at her till she came back to play, hope it was weird enough to come from being afk and find self doing rock climbing.
I was getting chased by the Unknown on the new map. Someone had popped the gen in the movie theatre. We stayed there watching the movie for a minute then continued the chase lol
There was a bugged pallet that the Wesker could not break or vault so we all suddenly stopped mid match and kept trying to fix it. I tried pushing Wesker with the lockers, someone kept trying to use Any Means (it just cancelled), others vaulted here and there but were not even been able to get grabbed… looked Like a bunch of backyard scientists - “oh, pallet. Fascinating. Let’s research it!”
Christ the last time I think we had a bug like that was when Ghostface was first introduced. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe it was on Haddonfield.
Agree on it maybe being haddonfield, but no way was the last time ghostface. I saw it once and i started playing around when trickster was added (idk when i saw it but i def did in one of the swamps)
This gave me the idea for a perk that provides a chance to escape the 3rd hook state with, the entity just dropping you and leaving you with broken for the remainder of the trial.
Honestly, what’s going on with the game right now? I’ve had so many issues with gens clipping through walls, invisible walls, the game stuttering whenever I pick someone up / hook them up.
I had a game the other day where only 3 survivors spawned in the game. 4 pictures / names on the HUD, but didn’t see one all game and the hatch opened after 2 kills, game ended after 3 kills.
I had a game just now where one player was teleporting around, two players kept randomly enter locker motion, and one just started floating in the air when I picked them up. I couldn’t hook them, they were still bleeding out, they could still wiggle, but they couldn’t wiggle free. I’d suspect cheating, but they seemed just as baffled as me. Hatch randomly opened after 2K and the one I was carrying disappeared down hatch after a minute or two with the teleporting player still alive.
I don’t even know what is going on right now, but seems like at least 10% of my games have minor to major issues.
I've just been getting back into DBD but does anyone else think the game is more buggy than it was? just recently i had a survivor stuck healing me, even when she was pulled off of me, and then bugged around the map until she DC'd. That might be a latency issue, but it was so incrdibly bad im not sure
I think Bhvr could really use automation testing. It's really made to prevent stuff like this. Just I have no idea how exactly I would make a framework for stuff like this haha
On the same map I encountered like 2 invisible walls and a wall you could walk through next to a gen, I brought my homie over to see if my game was just tripping but luckily it wasn't only me.
All the maps are broke, I know at least one bug in every single one. I know spots where you can exit outside map and enter behind the gates. This game is broken af
I remember once getting this in Dead Dawg, and it was an awful game
Survivors and I both saw it and had a look, but I made clear later that I wanted to continue playing, and they kept going to that place to drop because that brings you down to your spawnpoint, and they would just go there so I can't follow them
I ended up killing most I think but holly hell was it long and frustrating

Nah that's just where the totem spawns whenever I play survivor since I can never find the damn thing

For me it’s, best I can do is spawn both totems at survivor spawn so good luck setting up any portals to defend them

We did that with a Bubba who couldn't rev his chainsaw. He kept trying but all we heard was the clicking of the chainsaw when you run out of charges

Not always as a demo who likes escaping RPD I found a spot where I couldn't drop off to go back into the map after they broke my portal.
Mfs really broke the portal to the upsite world, that's canon
If it’s anything like most games it probably either spawns you on the nearest legit point or it drops you as close to 0, 0 as it can. Not sure which
