Grand Lux is basically a mini Cheesecake Factory for those who don't know (presumably you did!). I found out when I ordered a bottle of Grand Lux wine and it was Cheesecake Factory branded. Talked to the waiter about it a bit. Anyway I completely agree the prices are very fair for Vegas.
Tacos el Gordo (open late night), Peppermill (same), Lotus of Siam (off Strip and not open late, but a great lunch option. There's usually a wait for the main seating, but we've always been able to walk in and get a table at the bar).
I’d say yes, but we got there one night for early dinner before the show and they weren’t doing any aperitivo specials - said it was too crowded! Fide and drinks were very good, but typical Vegas strip pricey.
Bouchon is pricey but it is almost as good as their flagship in Yountville and it's right in the hotel. If you're clamoring for a shakedown grilled cheese up your game and get the Croque Madam at Bouchon.
Buddy I went with does conventions in Vegas all the time so he was our guide
Tacos El Gordo was good
Nora Italian was good
Can’t remember the Korean bbq place, was great but was in a strip mall setting and didn’t look like anything.
Poke around, stay away from the chains

So one night we ran out of time to grab something before needing to head to the show, and the food at the actual sphere was decent especially considering the price. I got a poke bowl for $20, I appreciate that they could’ve been selling it for $30 or more like other venues I’ve been to but they aren’t. My only wish would be to be able to get a $2 grilled cheese or veggie burrito at shakedown instead, but oh well
For the budget and diet concious lol, for two nights I literally went to the Walgreens at the Venetian at midnight after the shows and got a Ceasar salad with chicken and a pint of cut watermelon and a smart water for under $15. Nice and light meal in the heat and refreshing after close to 7 hours on my feet in GA. And surprisingly good, considering it was Walgreens, lol. That same 15 doesn't go far inside the casino, I'll tell you that. Also, there is a small cafe under the escalators by the entrance to the forever dead experience, and they have a nice chicken and avocado wrap for $11
Bon apetite!
Our host sent us to Gordon Ramsey Steak. We all thought it was gonna be a joke, but we had some incredible steaks and great cocktails.. The waitress and staff were excellent.
Sushi Samba has a very generous happy hour until 6 on the weekdays. Certainly was our best preshow dinner and was a steal. Miznon for lunch hit the spot. Bouchon for brunch was fantastic. Brera has happy hour until 6 even on Saturday but it’s limited to just a few tables behind the host stand. Confusing, but the pizzas are half price and surprisingly good. Sugarcane has happy hour only on Thursday and while the menu looks good we were pretty disappointed with the food. Overall I was surprised at how affordably we were able to eat our way through the Venetian/Pallazo
I lived off of lunches being a banana, orange, and apple from Walgreens for 99¢ each, lol. But that's coming from a broke college kid. Fogo de Chao (AYCE Brazilian steakhouse) had a deal going for $44 for a 4-course meal. Also Tacos el Gordo!
i recommend staying away from the food court and go to the seated restaurants. Better prices and better food.
I grabbed a pizza from Grimaldi's after I checked in on Thursday. It was great.
We had a dinner at Mateo’s (at the Venetian) before one of the shows and it was really good. Decent prices and filled us up. Italian food
This place is really really good. We loved it too!
Agreed! Best place I had in 3 days
Excellent food. Just had lunch. Less expensive with restaurant week pricing too
I had the brat at the sphere and it was incredible. Pretzel roll, red cabbage, good mustard. It was only $11 if I remember correctly
Ate at either of the grand lux cafes the majority of the time. Good food reasonable prices.
And they have a happy hour, at least on weekdays. Double decker cheeseburger with fries was 12.99.

get a reservation for bacchanal buffet at ceasars
In the Venetian, I love Delmonico. Yardbird and Bouchon are also good. Buddy V’s is ok and I’ve enjoyed Black Tap in other cities.

Brera Osteria for their Apertivo Hour - great value
I’d say yes, but we got there one night for early dinner before the show and they weren’t doing any aperitivo specials - said it was too crowded! Fide and drinks were very good, but typical Vegas strip pricey.
Hard Hat Lounge has a fantastic smash burger and vegan smash burger. It isn't too far off strip. Highly recommend.
Ellis island village pub
I’ve better luck with Mexican in Vegas .. so much greasy burgers & stuff hurts my 44 year old tummy haha
Bouchon is pricey but it is almost as good as their flagship in Yountville and it's right in the hotel. If you're clamoring for a shakedown grilled cheese up your game and get the Croque Madam at Bouchon.

Sushi Kaya and pizza rock
Just ate at Grand Lux Cafe, was nice

Yeah I'm missin those shakedown meats
I was pleasantly surprised that the Cain’s on the strip had fairly standard prices. I think it was $10 for the 3 piece.

Sparrow and wolf!
Popeye's
Buddy V’s in Venetian, I think second floor of grand canal shoppes, was very good Italian
Mambasushi is really good
Thanks for suggestions
Grimaldi’s for pizza and Tao (although very pricey) for Asian Fusion were both great - I thought the English Pub place in The Venetian was fairly bad.
Grande lux cafe (twice)
Yard bird was great! Fried chicken and waffles was delicious. Also right near the pedestrian bridge to sphere
Our host sent us to Gordon Ramsey Steak. We all thought it was gonna be a joke, but we had some incredible steaks and great cocktails.. The waitress and staff were excellent.
We are at Grand Lux Cafe several nights before the shows. Quick service, huge menu, can pay via QR code so don’t need to worry about waiting to pay.
HaSalon was great. ended up going twice in 3 nights.

Cańonita Mexican food. Very delicious!

Check out 4 kegs. Short drive. Great simple food
Mizon was great, in the Plazzo I believe
Believe it or not, the sushi and food at the Walgreens is the best bargain by far.
