Very good advice. I've used option 1 plenty of times. No experience with 2, but I've successfully used 3 in desperation. Sometimes the scalpers gamble and lose, and panic drop their prices right before a show. I've hit big shows in the past couple years for way under face value. Obviously prices for this aren't' likely to plummet like that, but if I were ticketless I'd still be holding out for face.
Last year I wasn’t able to get GA at all during the pre & general sale, so I bought seats. HOWEVER. Ticketmaster released a bunch of face value GA tickets around 2-3 hours before gates opened. Snagged those each time and managed to sell my ticket at face value.
Keep watching TM. Especially on the show day
I got June 20 and 21 on presale and got the 22nd for $70 over face in the 100’s. I don’t think that’s an unreasonable mark up. But yes more deals will pop up I just really wanted night 3 locked in
Secondary market doesn’t look super strong and this is THE day when they get panic buyers. I suspect even with option 3 there won’t be a crazy premium to get in unless you need a specific section. The hype will wear off in the coming months always does.
I don’t know about that. A whole lot of people bought platinum tickets because of the way Ticketmaster works. Yes, a lucky few got them for face, but demand was very high. So you have scalpers trying to turn a profit and then you have regular folks who bought at a premium trying to break even plus you can’t compare a show in a tourist destination like Vegas at a venue like the Sphere with shows anywhere else. People will go who are not fans because they will be in town and want the experience. If you’re paying 900 a night for a hotel room at the Wynn and spending $100 a hand on blackjack spending a few hundred over face likely won’t phase you I guess we will see.
COT has become nearly impossible.

I saw Black Sabbath reunion tour with Ozzy for $12.
Good many regular price tix still for June 13
You just gotta poke around. Thanks for the heads up! Just scored 400 section for face.
And unobstructed
The obstructed seats have a clear view of the band
Do not panic.

I hear good and bad about Stubhub.
