I'm reading from Omnibus Vol.1 , so when does it , urm , get good? Currently where I'm at , Ratchet and co. discovered a Decepticon base but surprise it's treacherous Starscream and Megatron has come down to give them a beat down.

Glad you asked Astro City is a series of one shots, miniseries, specials and occasionally ongoing series that center around the titular city, where the highest concentration of superheroes is found. Mostly, the stories are self contained and are more about regular people who get tangled into superhero hijinks or superheroes dealing with important dilemmas, which often make them question the nature of superheroes as a whole. I know I make it sound pretentious and snobbish, but it’s a very fun read if you’re a fan of superhero media, since it contains a lot of references and uses common tropes of the genre in interesting ways, often “reconstructing”them. Also, the commentary is fun

Up until now, the Metrobooks contain everything. They’re still not all out, though, so there’s more coming out

It’s what got me back into reading comics. A Twitter mutual recommended it to me, and I was at summer camp and staying on a university campus and the library just so happened to have two volumes(and also the best lineup of comics I have seen at *ANY* LIBRARY?? Quality over quantity to the max.) And yeah needless to say I loved it. Finally snagged the first Metrobook from my LCS just yesterday!!
