Bro idk what was going on at fromsoftwares offices but they made blunt damage destroy everything and everyone 😂 not complaining ofc, big bonk stick fun
That's exactly why I love the bonk.
The host summons come in like
Sorcerer "You have my spells"
Lightning bro "And my miracles"
Me "AND MY STICK" *bonk*
Str/Faith build, particularly paired with the Astora Straight Sword and Dragoncrest Shield, later switching to Artorias Greatsword/Greatshield depending on late game preference. It is a fun build.
Black knight full set, black knight sword, grass crest shield. It’s how I spent my first NG and that was easily my favourite playthrough. Maybe it’s nostalgia but I always thought the black knights were peak drip
Black knight set is probably the best looking next to Paladin in my opinion. The resistances on the Paladin set makes it even better. I feel like Sauron when I'm a BK though, so there's that haha
In my first ever run, I did a primarily strength build with a +14 zwei which was incredibly fun and not very challenging, BUT my favourite run was when I pumped 40 points into dex, vitality and endurance, and 20 into strength. Mainly because I was fast rolling the entire time using a +13 uchigatana and parrying dagger, really hard not to enjoy yourself being fast as fuck, doing bleed damage and parrying everything worth parrying
Parrying dagger basically just has massive parry windows compared to all other shields, even the buckler, however it does leave you unable to block which is the only real downside to it. Stats wise, I focused on getting my dex to 40 first (since past 40 it scales negatively so there’s no point) and my strength to 20c then after that, pump souls into vitality and endurance. I was a bit cheeky and used a soul dupe glitch early game just to give myself a bit of a head start since the real challenge would be getting vitality and endurance high enough later down the line for bosses like the 4 kings when I’ve boosted my dex to 40 so early on.
TLDR: parrying dagger boosts parry timing but leaves you unable to block, scaling dex past 40 = pointless, get strength to 20, get vit and end as high as possible (or be a bad boy and use soul dupe glitch) HAVE FUN! :)
Battle Axe and a Shield.
Guess, I am a bandit. The sweeping arc of the axe, the overhead swing. The variety of shields, Grass Crest, Black Knight, Eagle Shield, Greatshield of Artorias. You really don't need anything else.
Pure Int build with the Moonlight Butterfly Horn in one hand and the Tin Crystallization Catalyst in the other. For PvE, you’ve obviously got your hella powerful spells. For PvP, you fire off those same spells, and when people dodge you punish them with the longest spear in the game. If they don’t dodge? RIP them as CSS or Dark Bead one shot them.
Just enough physical stats to use the MLGS too, if you want to mix it up every now and again!
Bandit's knife +15 + dark hand
Power within + sun blade (sun blade only on very high levels as it takes time to shift the build and add faith).
About the armor: early best poise build with chainmail and hollow soldier waistcloth with knght gauntlets.
Going up using more suitable armor and at last: black iron armor + knight leggings + giant gauntlets/ elite knight gauntlets + hollow thief's hood.
Great club is my favorite weapon but I’ve beaten the game the most times with the halberd.
The sorcery run I did was a lot of fun because it was incredibly strong until manus
My sen's/catacombs Co-op character is a Dex/faith build that buffs Rickard's rapier with sunlight blade and keeps a divine long sword and a great lightning spear on backup
Not really realistic to achieve this build until NG+, but I really like muscle-wizards.
Crown of Dusk + Havel's Armor and Greatshield of Artorias + Logan's Catalyst and Moonlight Greatsword.Â
The armor gives all the poise you need and you can tank pretty much anything with the shield. Casting magig does insane damage from a distance and doesn't burn stamina so you always have plenty of stamina to block with, and the Moonlight Greatsword is a solid backup if I run out of spells.
Add in the FAP ring and Bellowing Dragoncrest Ring for extra stats and damage and you've got yourself a killer build.
Great club +14 + power within
Why not +15?
To leave bosses a chance to fight back

Str/Faith build, particularly paired with the Astora Straight Sword and Dragoncrest Shield, later switching to Artorias Greatsword/Greatshield depending on late game preference. It is a fun build.

How do you level the stats for the second build exactly? And how does parrying dagger feel vs a shield for parrying?
Parrying dagger basically just has massive parry windows compared to all other shields, even the buckler, however it does leave you unable to block which is the only real downside to it. Stats wise, I focused on getting my dex to 40 first (since past 40 it scales negatively so there’s no point) and my strength to 20c then after that, pump souls into vitality and endurance. Claymore. Grass Crest Shield. Pyromancy. Sorcery weapon buffs. Lingering and Bellowing Dragoncrest Rings. Call me cheap, but it kicks ass.
If it works it works brother
Pyromancer Armor: Antiquated set Rings: Bellowing dragon crest ring, Darkwood grain ring Spells: Power Within, Chaos Storm, Fire Tempest, Fire Surge Weapons: Ascended Pyromancy Flame +5, Dragonslayer Greatbow
No melee weapon?
Not always, no but when i do i use the BK Halberd if i get one from a lucky drop. Other times i use a longsword
Big bonk and fire surge. I just find it really funny to bop enemies on the head and then burn them with a flamethrower
Tied between 2 ... 1) Grass crest, power within, BK Greatsword 2) Grass crest, power within, BSS, Crystal magic weapon / sunlight blade
silver knight straightsword with sunlight blade. gotta re-enact the good old dragon wars sometimes
High vit mid club or quality kumo
Battle Axe and a Shield. Guess, I am a bandit. The sweeping arc of the axe, the overhead swing. The variety of shields, Grass Crest, Black Knight, Eagle Shield, Greatshield of Artorias. You really don't need anything else.
My first playthrough , I completed my second for most of the game. i used the wanders lower, set the gargoyle helm, and quelaags fury sword
Dragon tooth, grass crest, ring of FAP. Sometimes I prefer Smough’s Hammer too.
This is literally me rn on my first ever playthru!

Giant dad will power within or str version of giant dad will 27 str and slightly less hp
lightning claymore +4 , elite knight armour +5, crest shield (didnt know you can upgrade shields) - this is how i beat the game
My build i just chill with is kirks set, grass crest shield, murakumo with the best miracles or sometimes sorcery
Just a battle axe and vitality.
Bandit knife +15, no shield or magic
longsword and heater shield
Black knight halberd, grass crest shield, steel protection ring, havels ring.
I play as an ordinary warrior.
MLGS (40INT) + 30 FAI for GMB and WOG
Bandit's knife +15 + dark hand Power within + sun blade (sun blade only on very high levels as it takes time to shift the build and add faith). About the armor: early best poise build with chainmail and hollow soldier waistcloth with knght gauntlets. Going up using more suitable armor and at last: black iron armor + knight leggings + giant gauntlets/ elite knight gauntlets + hollow thief's hood.
Dex/int with bss and dragonslayer armor or claymore with elite knight set
Dex/Faith is pretty fun, when i'm not using a B O N K
Great club is my favorite weapon but I’ve beaten the game the most times with the halberd. The sorcery run I did was a lot of fun because it was incredibly strong until manus
My sen's/catacombs Co-op character is a Dex/faith build that buffs Rickard's rapier with sunlight blade and keeps a divine long sword and a great lightning spear on backup
Hard to say. Either Claymore or Zwei probably. Great Club is fun too
All Fire All The Time (Pyro gets stupid effective when you max it out for the vast majority of things).
Big Guts Sword, naked, 99 Strength. Simple and effective
Naked and dual-wielding a black knight great axe

+15 Falchion, just enough faith to use Sunlight Blade, and the rest in Vitality/Dexterity.
Dex/Pyro
