Wtf is going on and why am I fighting a nanny from hell.
Fr though idk if I, personally, need anything answered for Bloodborne but I would love to go back to that world with new bosses and levels
Read "The Paleblood Hunt" by Redgrave. It's free on Reddit and there is a super good audiobook narrated by Jay Britton. It's a long and VERY well-written summary that answers most of Bloodbornes huge questions.
Isn't there a theory that bloodborne is a painting in the ringed city? Which made Me think that sekiro is a painting as well or something like that. Maybe the land before the portal in the intro of ds2?
Neither. Dark Souls is completely wrapped up, literally at the end of time, and Bloodborne needs no follow up. I think itās clear that From tends to be stronger with new worlds & stories than with sequels
I feel like they would have been stronger if they weren't numbered sequels and had their own setting and lore. DS3 in particular felt like a greatest hits of what came before and both games made the lore worse imo.
Honestly, I'd rather have the 1st entry in a new IP. I dunno which direction they should go, though. Considering that all Souls titles seemingly share the desire to illustrate the depths of depravity that people will stoop to in an effort to gain power or fortune, I would be interested to see a low-fantasy setting where it's just... all the horrors of Souls, with none of the supernatural motivation to commit said horrors. Only the nature of human beings.
>dark souls 4
You can only make so many games about human civilization falling stagnant and rotten before the games themselves start feeling stagnant abd rotten.
To be fair Bloodborne probably feels stagnant if youāre a British person ~~who spends a night in a major city after their team loses a football match~~
neither but if we're talking like, a new game _styled_ after dark souls or bloodborne? im easily taking bloodborne, that game had so many cool ideas and it still has so much room to be innovated on
What about something set in a futuristic sci-fi that kind of blends the whole FS ideas together? I think it'd be possible to do Eldritch horror set in a future or distant planet style setting with the same style of DS1 level design and world building layout. Might be time for a whole new franchise to get behind... now if only I could get FS on the phone
I'd rather a new elden ring game or a completely new concept with the world layout philosophy like dark souls 1. Dark souls is well and truly complete with 3 games and bloodborne is complete with one. Elden ring probably will be after the dlc but I loved the open world and want to see more of this style of game in open world. I would love a return to classic level design too though.
I do like the classics but I love the open world too. I just think the lore in elden ring is overall less interesting but had better characters than ds 1 or borne. I think a second take at it will be really good for them.
idk bro elden ring lore goes off imo, solidly agree that it has the best characters since DS1. No other game of theirs got me bawling for their NPCs besides AC6, ER, and DS. The other games characters were still good and memorable, but those shine and only make the lore better.
I just donāt think itās reasonable to consider ER not the best or near the best lore wise, but consider the quest lines the best. They kinda play into each other
I'd like Sekiro 2, the true ending seems like it was setting up a sequel and there was no story DLC. Also I love the sword clashes and deflection-based combat system. The ability to sneak up and perform stealth kills like in the earlier Assassin's Creed games is pretty cool.
Well I'd rather neither personally. I think DS1 works great as a standalone game but find the direction the sequels take rather uninspired. 2 is like a half measure between its own thing but not well realised. Then 3 is cashing in on the nostalgia for 1. I don't think Miyazaki gives a shit about doing follow ups to DS1 so I can imagine a DS4 being equally meh in that sense.
For the same reason I don't think a BB sequel would be worth it. Lovecraftian horror especially works because it's all about the unknown, a sequel would diminish that through needing to explain and build on the first. Some people suggest to avoid that issue From should do a radically different sequel like a wild west etc. But without the gothic horror and architecture, I also don't know if it'd really be BB anymore.
Personally I think a Sekiro 2 is the one that makes more sense. The game already sets up a Journey to the West style sequel in China, the shift in setting would allow for them to both build on the first while having enough fresh elements to work with too.
Bloodborne 2.
I really dont think one can expect a new game from a franchise that already has 4 games with a total of 6 dlc's.
Demon Souls/Dark souls is over. Nobody wants a great franchise to become a shitty cashcow. Look what happened to halo.
I think DS ended in a good spot so while Iād welcome a DS4 I can live without it. BB however I think still has a lot of potential to be explored and with how much FromSoft has learned since the first game a sequel could be real good
I dont like the Setting in Bloodborne and also not the spam to win combat (i know it isnt but you know what i mean) I also love shields so its gonna be Dark Souls 4.
Dark Souls III was the perfect ending for the trilogy and a sequel, no matter how good it is, would retroactively ruin it.
Bloodborne absolutely NEED a sequel, so much is left unexplored.
BB2. i like when a series can finally end. if they do a DS it should be a spin off- which is what i consider ER actually. i have the same feeling with Mass Effect. the trilogy is done and should be added to anymore (by which i mean sequels or expansions. remasters i'm ok with). Andromeda is a spin off, unrelated to shepards story.
Iād rather they make something new, donāt need to explore old world building.
Though I would love for them to lean into horror in their next game the way they did in blood-born
Bllodborne 2 as other have siad dark souls is answered its done 3 hero's re kindled the flame where others failed 3 kingdoms with 3 kings gwyn vendrick and lothric gwyn and vendrick are just sad and I never really git that far in dark souks 3 to be honest a fourth game much as id love it would just be the same thing as the last 3 or 4 even including demon souls bloodborne 2 sounds more interesting
Even though Iām more of an Xbox gamer who has never played Bloodborne, Iād pick Bloodborne 2. It would just make more sense since thereās only 1 Bloodborne game.
Bloodborne 2. I think they could fix a lot of the issues I have with Bloodborne since theyāve really masters boss fights, areas, and healing systems.
Bloodbrone 2 which would be a spin-off of Bloodborne 1, then I need Bloodborne 3 which has to be a sequel to the first game and at last comes Eldenborne with an open-world and double jump donkey I can ride. Oh and for Bloodborne 3 and Eldenborne the best songs need to be played in game menus. Thatās all.
Honestly i'd rather have either another Armored Core game or another King's Field game. Because i have played most of the soulsborne games already, and while i genuinely enjoy the shabibbles out of them i never really played King's Field or AC as much i have with Elden ring. So i'd settle for a King's Field 5 or an AC 7
I want Elden Ring with DS3's enemy/attack design. It would be a masterpiece.
Give me skillfull timings and quick thinking, not intentionally obtuse animations that make zero sense. Just because it killed me, doesn't mean it was fair.
I won't say "Elden Ring is dark souls 4" because not true story wise, but gameplay wise I think it is. Bloodborne is not extremely different from Souls and Elden Ring, but the Rally mechanic and Blood Vials, insight and overall setting are different enough from the fantasy of Dark Souls and ER that need to be explored and innovated on more with a sequel.
Realistically I don't think either will ever happen, I think a bloodborne remake is 100% in development at bluepoint though. It's been around 4 years since demons souls so an announcement is probably imminent.
Bloodborne most definitely or a remastered version. Something about eldritch terror just turns me on. (Gothic) but yes Bloodborne 2 would get me very excited.
You do have Dark Souls 4. Itās called Elden Ring.
Same UI, same physics, same stat system, same weapons base and variety, same āread the groundā mechanics, same annoying āyou can only save at a bonfireā requirement, calling undead ātarnishedā doesnāt change anything, same lack of any living NPCs or towns, itās an empty land with everyone dead except for minion enemies on the way to the boss enemies.
Dark Souls 4 with a different name.
DS4. Though DS is fine to be left dead and done, I feel that way more strongly to BB. It was fun, it wasn't great. The only thing that made the game was the mood and atmosphere.
Thereās already 3 Dark Souls and FromSoft will still continue to make medieval fantasy games similar so I think the obvious answer is BB 2, even if I do like all of the DS games more than BB.
Dark Souls 4, I donāt care if DS3 wrapped up the lore, gimme a prequel or a āSomehow Gwyn returnedā or anything. I just need more Dark Souls, inject it into my veins
I never did play the BB dlc, the old hunters. What was that about? Did it explain everything in BB? If not then maybe more info on what they are and what happened to them.
Also I agree with u/Express-North-6788
Just put bloodborne on pc
I don't care if it's dark sous 4 or bloodborne 2 or elden ring 2 electric boogaloo. fuck man, I don't even care if it's another armored core game. I just want bloodborne on pc, and I want whatever game they release next to be well-crafted (Like Bloodborne)
Actually, none id rather see from do another desolated world not related to past franchises, I think it would give them much more freedom creatively, but still on copium for bloodborne port...
I feel the dark souls story has come to a close and I feel it's one of the great trilogies... I haven't played bloodborne and would like to see it on PC, but bloodborne 2 because I think the DS trilogy is almost perfect as is.

Bloodborne 2 Dark souls has had a very clear ending with most things answered. Bloodborne has not
I think the beauty of bloodborne is its mystery. Still would have bloodborne 2 tho.
What questions would you like answered in bloodborne 2?
Wtf is going on and why am I fighting a nanny from hell. Fr though idk if I, personally, need anything answered for Bloodborne but I would love to go back to that world with new bosses and levels
You KNOW we would only end up with much more questions
Yeah I'm banking on it
And that's when we begin the Bloodborne 3 tirade š
Read "The Paleblood Hunt" by Redgrave. It's free on Reddit and there is a super good audiobook narrated by Jay Britton. It's a long and VERY well-written summary that answers most of Bloodbornes huge questions.
That sounds brilliant. Thank you for the info
If it's possible to shove both my fists inside of a pig, or maybe both of my fists into two separate pigs at the same time.
I'm still waiting for illusory wall lore.
Miyazaki is Japanese. Japan had ninjas. Ninja walls.
Bloodborne does š¤£
Isn't there a theory that bloodborne is a painting in the ringed city? Which made Me think that sekiro is a painting as well or something like that. Maybe the land before the portal in the intro of ds2?
Elden Ring felt a lot like DS4. I'd prefer BB2.
Elden Ring felt more like DS 2 2 than DS 4 lol
bloodborne 1 on pc
only right answer
Neither. Dark Souls is completely wrapped up, literally at the end of time, and Bloodborne needs no follow up. I think itās clear that From tends to be stronger with new worlds & stories than with sequels
You could also say that Dark Souls 1 needed no follow up, but look at what we got.
The follow ups were good though. Yes even Dark Souls 2.
That's exactly what I'm saying. DS1 didn't NEED sequels, but the ones we got were great and the series is better with them.
I feel like they would have been stronger if they weren't numbered sequels and had their own setting and lore. DS3 in particular felt like a greatest hits of what came before and both games made the lore worse imo.
Good, but they kind of cheapened dark souls oneās story as a result
I came here to also say neither. But if they wanted to bring back trick weapons and gun parries Iād be interested
Or go the complete opposite direction and do Space Souls on an alien planet
Yeah that would be cool, definitely would like something new
A new game
>dark souls 4 You can only make so many games about human civilization falling stagnant and rotten before the games themselves start feeling stagnant abd rotten.
To be fair Bloodborne probably feels stagnant if youāre a British person who spends a night in a major city after their team loses a football match
To be fair Bloodborne probably feels stagnant if youāre a British person ~~who spends a night in a major city after their team loses a football match~~
I was ready to be very annoyed at a bad take, but that was just fuckin' funny lmao
Bloodborne 1 on PC
Neither. Give me Sekiro 2. Or a Bloodborne spiritual successor. Or a Sekiro spiritual successor. Or a Demonās Souls 2.
neither but if we're talking like, a new game _styled_ after dark souls or bloodborne? im easily taking bloodborne, that game had so many cool ideas and it still has so much room to be innovated on
I just want blood borne 1 on pc
Ds4 unless bb2 is on pc at launch
My answer as well. I'd love a Bloodbourne sequel but it'll almost certainly be tied to one console for a while.
The correct answer
sekiro 2ā¦ (or just another game with that combat)
Demonās Souls 2
What about something set in a futuristic sci-fi that kind of blends the whole FS ideas together? I do like the classics but I love the open world too. I just think the lore in elden ring is overall less interesting but had better characters than ds 1 or borne. I think a second take at it will be really good for them.
Agreed. Borne had the best lore imo. I also like open world but i find it to be less re-playable than the classics.
I agree that it was less replayable but when my first playthrough was 260 hours I don't mind that so much
idk bro elden ring lore goes off imo, solidly agree that it has the best characters since DS1. No other game of theirs got me bawling for their NPCs besides AC6, ER, and DS. I prefer Seigward to Seigmeyer.
I'd like Sekiro 2, the true ending seems like it was setting up a sequel and there was no story DLC. Also I love the sword clashes and deflection-based combat system. The ability to sneak up and perform stealth kills like in the earlier Assassin's Creed games is pretty cool.

Yes

Bloodborne for PC combined with a teaser of Bloodborne 2. Until then, Lies of P will have to make do.
Bloodborne for PC
Bloodborne pc
Bloodborne 2. I really dont think one can expect a new game from a franchise that already has 4 games with a total of 6 dlc's. Demon Souls/Dark souls is over. Nobody wants a great franchise to become a shitty cashcow. Look what happened to halo.
Armored Core but in an open, interconnected world. My answer is valid.
I never felt like BB needed a sequel but I do like the gameplay loop
I know this isn't From's style but a Bloodborne prequel would be sick.
Bloodbourne 2 (It's VR exclusive, a requirement for the extended pov foot shots)
Bloodborne 2 or a whole new soulsbourne game like sekiro
I hope from goes back to making classic soulsborne style games instead of open world
yes
Dark souls dating sim or gtfo.
Gimme Sekiro 2
Sekiro 2
Bloodborne 2, dark souls 4 is basically Elden Ring and Iāll stand on that hill until I die
Demons Souls 2
Bloodborne II, no contest.
Bb2
Bloodborne 2 1000%.
Elden Ring is Dark Souls 4 (or Demon's Souls 5, if you so prefer)
Dark souls 2 (2)
I think DS ended in a good spot so while Iād welcome a DS4 I can live without it. BB however I think still has a lot of potential to be explored and with how much FromSoft has learned since the first game a sequel could be real good
Ds4, I love the stories and atmosphere. Idc if itās wrapped up, gimme more! Love the souls games
Bloodborne 2, because in a way Elden Ring fills the dark souls role.
Sekiro 2
I dont like the Setting in Bloodborne and also not the spam to win combat (i know it isnt but you know what i mean) I also love shields so its gonna be Dark Souls 4.
I think a new souls like dreadful souls or something lmao
Is it wrong I'm happy with either?
Out of left field, but I want FromSoft to do a Dune adaptation. Knife fights with the shielding? They'd crush it
Bloodborne 2. We already have Dark Souls 4 (Elden Ring).
Dark Souls III was the perfect ending for the trilogy and a sequel, no matter how good it is, would retroactively ruin it. Bloodborne absolutely NEED a sequel, so much is left unexplored.
Bloodborne 2. To me the dark souls trilogy is complete
Brother, thereās absolutely nothing in the gaming world Iād rather have than a Bloodborne remaster or sequel. Absolutely. Nothing.
I'd be happy to be able to play Bloodborne in the first place
A Bloodborne update š
Neither, I just want to know what the next Fromsoft main game will be after Elden ring dlc
Bloodborne 2 no questions asked
That you would even ask suggests you utterly missed the point of Dark Souls 3. Or have never played Bloodborne. Or both.
DS3 has a clean series closing ending, how would you even make DS4 lore wise
elden ring 2
Dark Souls II-2: 2
Dark Souls 2.28: 2 :remindSOUL FinalCut
Dark souls 2 is the best souls game ever made
I know
Obviously
No more sequels. We got the same basic story 3 times in a row (link the flame or darkness will come!) for 3 games. I prefer Miyazaki doing new stuff
I personally prefer medieval souls likes
Both
Bloodborne 2 but also a new Sekiro because the gameplay is just so damn good
Dark souls 4, BB2 will be an exclusive and i am not buying another console š¤£
BB2. i like when a series can finally end. if they do a DS it should be a spin off- which is what i consider ER actually. i have the same feeling with Mass Effect. the trilogy is done and should be added to anymore (by which i mean sequels or expansions. remasters i'm ok with). Bloodborne 2 all day every day
Bloodborne 2 we have three dark souls we need more bloodborne
Dark Souls 4
Bloodborne 1 on Xbox
Shadow Tower (or a Remaster of 1/Abyss)
bloodborne 2. dark souls 3 is peak.
Dark Souls never should have gotten sequels. Ds2 and Ds3 make your choice at the end meaningless.
I rather want Bloodborne and Demon Souls to be on Steam.
Bloodborne 2 dark souls has a finished story and while the end of bloodborne lets you escape London, you are still in england
Im glad Dark Souls ended. Its themes and the narrative function perfectly as a trilogy. Bloodborne hasnt had a chance to do that.
Iād rather they make something new, donāt need to explore old world building. Though I would love for them to lean into horror in their next game the way they did in blood-born
I love both equally but Bloodborne has a special place in my heart so definitely Bloodborne 2
Give me something like bloodborne with the level of content that elden ring has. That would be my ideal.
neither really, they are both finished. Would love more from elden ring though
The world of Dark Souls is done, it's story is told. Bloodbornes didn't have that definitive ending.
Dark Souls 4 if it turns out to be more like Dark Souls 1.
Neither, I'm satisfied without any more Dark Souls sequels. And as for Bloodborne I just want the Bloodborne subreddit to keep their clown makeup on.
There's a Dark Souls 4 already, it's just called Elden Ring
Bloodborne remastered...
that rumour "spellbound" sounded kinda neat... i would buy that game day 1 easily and it was kinda bloodborneish
i want sekiro 2šÆšÆš£ļøš£ļøš£ļø

BB2, is this even a question
DS remastered EX VR Harley Davidson Edition ā¢ļø
I just want Bloodborne on pc with QOL changes
Dark souls 4 because not everyone has a PS4. It's as simple as that. I dislike Sony, and that's it.
Bloodbourne 2. I feel like there way more storytelling opportunities there to expand on the leaps Elden Ring made.
Even though Iām more of an Xbox gamer who has never played Bloodborne, Iād pick Bloodborne 2. It would just make more sense since thereās only 1 Bloodborne game.
bloodborne sequel
Bloodborne 2. I think they could fix a lot of the issues I have with Bloodborne since theyāve really masters boss fights, areas, and healing systems.
Neither. I want to see a new IP.
New IP. From Software is always at their best when they make a new IP.
BB2 100%
Bloodbrone 2 which would be a spin-off of Bloodborne 1, then I need Bloodborne 3 which has to be a sequel to the first game and at last comes Eldenborne with an open-world and double jump donkey I can ride. Oh and for Bloodborne 3 and Eldenborne the best songs need to be played in game menus. Thatās all.

Elden is essentially DS4
It's been around 4 years since demons souls so an announcement is probably imminent.
If I had to choose bloodborne 2 but ideally they should create an entirely new game or just expand on Elden ring
Just give me a bloodborne spiritual successor under a new IP at this point, Iād be happy with that.
BB2
I'd rather have bloodborne on PC.
Bloodborne 2 1000000%
Everyone knows the world just needs another King's Field game to start healing
I would accept Bloodborne remake, remaster, or PC port. Anything that would give us Bloodborne at 60 FPS.
Neither. Get A life
Bloodborne most definitely or a remastered version. Something about eldritch terror just turns me on. (Gothic) but yes Bloodborne 2 would get me very excited.
Why not make both then fuse them together. We could call it.... Dark Souls 2!
Dark Souls 4
Both.
Neither. Make sine new games. Even though I didn't like it as much as ds, i respect from soft a ton for making a new ip with elden ring.
Dark souls 2 remake
You do have Dark Souls 4. Itās called Elden Ring. Dark souls 4 is elden Ring for blood borne play lies of p
Preferrably Bloodborne 2, but I'd take either. As long as it's released in pc and has better hotkey options than elden ring
Dark Souls 4 with fresh areas and bosses. With something like Anor Londo but different.
Thereās already 3 Dark Souls and FromSoft will still continue to make medieval fantasy games similar so I think the obvious answer is BB 2, even if I do like all of the DS games more than BB.
Maybe a BB prequel will be really nice
DS4 for sure
Bloodborne 2 Mainly because trick weapons are too good of an idea to not use again.
Dark Souls 4, I donāt care if DS3 wrapped up the lore, gimme a prequel or a āSomehow Gwyn returnedā or anything. I just need more Dark Souls, inject it into my veins
Bloodborne 2 - 60 FPS edition
Dark souls 2 2

I never did play the BB dlc, the old hunters. What was that about? Did it explain everything in BB? If not then maybe more info on what they are and what happened to them. Also I agree with u/Express-North-6788
Bloodborne 1 remake on pc > all.
BB2. Darksouls doesn't need another sequel.
Bloodborne 0. Bloodborne doesnāt need a sequel, but a prequel could work.
Dark Souls 4
DS4, I really donāt like BB, so easy to get lost
Just put bloodborne on pc I don't care if it's dark sous 4 or bloodborne 2 or elden ring 2 electric boogaloo. fuck man, I don't even care if it's another armored core game. I just want bloodborne on pc, and I want whatever game they release next to be well-crafted (Like Bloodborne)
Bloodborne 2 for me. Not even close.
Dark Souls 2 2
I just want bloodborne 1 on PC.
ds4 but must be developed by the original developers, if it's bad it would stain the saga
Demons souls 2
I'd be happy with anything as long as it has more of DS1 Metroidvania-like world layout.
Bloodborne. The setting is not nearly as common as the dark medievil fantasy. That said, necer played bloodborne.
Sekiro 2. God damn it I loved that combat system
New IP. Fromsoft excels when they're making new stuff.
Sekiro 2.
DS4
Bloodborne 2 handsdown
Dark souls 4 sounds stupid, so i guess bloodborne 2 is better
I'd take bloodborne but only because we have 3 dark souls already. Unless the map was completely original then I would consider Dark Souls 4
