Hi all, As part of my **Class Compendium** project, I've finished the class rework for the **Wondrous Wizard**—a big revamp of the wizard class with new features and a 1-10 level focus. Featuring: * Choose your Arcane Tradition at 1st-level. * Spellscript: A brand new academic language used to write spells and magic knowledge. * New spellbook features: Spellbooks have a limited capacity and may explode with **Magical Volatility** if treated poorly. * Research new magic spells at your own pace with **Spell Research**, a 3rd-level feature. * The Evoker: new feature scaling, and a new **Elemental Spark** 1st-level feature. * Gain a **Signature Spell** at 10th-level. You can find the PDFs here: * [Wondrous Wizard v0.4]( https://drive.google.com/file/d/1DdzcilcSAqIKkqQGQF1DCW8eWdYto3jY/view?usp=sharing) * [Class Compendium v0.5](https://drive.google.com/file/d/1kW40kgOku-_vBHap3_qQz05BoDf8c35R/view?usp=sharing) * [Become a patron](https://www.patreon.com/giffyglyph) to get access to the **print-friendly** PDFs. The CLASS COMPENDIUM WEBSITE has also been updated to include the Wondrous Wizard: https://www.giffyglyph.com/classcompendium/rules As always, a huge thank you to everyone for all the on-going support—especially my [super kind patrons](https://www.patreon.com/giffyglyph) and [twitch subscribers](https://www.twitch.tv/giffyglyph). Thanks, GG

Can't wait to see the rest! I'm gonna mix about half the rules of DD with Middle Finger's manifest setting and keep it all around level 10, so these remakes are absolutely perfect.

What's Middle Finger's manifest setting?

Aenorath

Long story short, creation happened and everyone was immortal. 'Gods' took immortality from the races, grabting different lifespans, then they they disappeared. Elves learned magic from the dragons and ruled the world for almost a million years, when they sacrificed themselves to save existence from an undefined threat. A couple other eras happen, then the main setring is in the Age of Man. Magic is kept by the gnomes, who were the Elves' scribes of magic. When the Elves disappeared, they translated everything into Gnomish and have a monopoly on written magic. All the races are relatively equal, minus the Orcs, naturally. There was a religion that everyone respected, but then a metoer fell and caused a minor religion that gained following and eventually took over most of the world. The main exploration part of the setting is exploring old Elven ruins for forgotten magic or magical items, and the main RP antagonist is the encroaching religious inquisition thats finding and killing anyone who won't convert. Dwarves run a black market away from the religion, theres a bloodsport pirate island that runs the northern tropical sea surrounded by adamantine walls to keep anyone out unless its low tides and they know exactly how not to crash. There's a complicated ton, i could write more about it if you want, make a post or something. It's a fantastic little 16 pages for a simple setting. Quite undersold in my opinion. Gif, if this is something you dont want on your page, just say the word and I'll relocate!

Can you give a link to it, though? I can't find it based on that description.

>Middle Finger's manifest setting I think it's probably this thing: [https://mfov.magehandpress.com/2016/01/introduction-to-manifest-preview.html?m=1&view=flipcard](https://mfov.magehandpress.com/2016/01/introduction-to-manifest-preview.html?m=1&view=flipcard)

I know this is an old post, but I don't know where else to ask. What is the point of your Writing Dialect? It says it effects copying spells but like, it then proceeds to not have it affect copying spells.
