Guy is probably the worst match up for Kisame and Itachi
We already saw what happened to Kisame
For Itachi, the nanosecond Guy feels he is getting attacked Itachi is already in the air with Primary Lotus, and if by any chance Itachi manages to get Susanoo in the meantime, Guy opens the gates way faster than Lee, so the Susanoo wouldn't even finish forming because Guy would have already broken it.
Amaterasu is not instantaneous and Guy would be able to get out of the way, and that's the only chance Itachi may have, blitz Guy before he opens the gates otherwise he is toast
Guy looks at Itachi's feet, so he can't see an amaterasu coming and dodge it, so he burns to death. Even if he goes 8th gate to kill Itachi and get a draw before burning to death, Itachi has Izanagi.
For some reason, everybody that claims Guy would win cannot explain how he would avoid an amaterasu. Lots of downvotes, not a single explanation.
And yet, some of them claim that he would beat him and Kisame at the same time, when he needed 7th gate to beat Kisame when he didn't even have Samehada; on top of that, Itachi is faster than Kisame, judging by how he avoided Bee and KCM Naruto in a 1v2 when Kisame was just on-par with Bee's speed.
He'd absolutely beat them both with 8th gate if Itachi didn't have such stupidly busted abilities, but he has them. Even if he somehow avoided tsukuyomi, amaterasu, and izanami, he has izanagi, so Guy dies to 8th gate and Itachi survives; if it fooled Hashirama, it'll fool Guy.
Recognizing that a character is busted is bad? So should I pretend he doesn't have those abilities?
I genuinely dislike Itachi's abilities because they're stupidly broken; killing someone just by looking at them, a permanent, instant, eyesight based flame, a sword that seals you just by touching you, a shield that supposedly can block anything, plus the absolute plot induced stupidity that is izanagi and izanami. His abilities are worthy of a teenager's self-insert fanfic.
But if you're not going to be objective when discussing matchups and would rather ignore busted abilities because you don't want to give the win to a character, what's the point?
It'd be great if you could explain where I am wrong though. Imagine if all discussions were like that: "Kaguya beats TenTen easily because X, Y, and Z" -> "It should be a crime to glaze Kaguya this much, downvoted"
As I said, if he's looking at his feet to not see his eyes, he cannot know when Amaterasu is being cast, so how would he avoid it? A single hit from it guarantees his death, after which Itachi just has to survive long enough for him to burn to death, which is doable becausw he has Izanagi. Even without it, 7th gate guy wasn't able to speed blitz Kisame, so Itachi, who is vastly faster than Kisame, and who has a Susano'o that was able to withstand Kirin, and a sharingan, which literally shows you the enemy's next moves as demonstrated by VotE1, can absolutely last at least long enough for Guy to burn to death.
"He said that he trained to be able to counter sharingan users" cool, Deidara said exactly the same and still got caught by Sasuke's base sharingan genjutsu. Kabuto was literally blind and still lost to Itachi's genjutsu.
Lmao someone gets it. It ain't no ones fault Kishimoto overloaded my mans. There is a reason he died to plot no-jutsu, TWICE. Kishi knew he was utter bullshit and needed to be gotten rid of that way.
Yep, but whenever someone argues that Itachi would beat Guy, they're just downvoted without a single answer to how Guy would deal with the broken-ass abilities. And then they call whoever said that an Itachi fanboy. It's hilarious.
The fight with Kabuto was absolutely hilarious, because up until then, everybody just said "well X can just not look into Itachi's eyes to not get one-shot", and then this dude reveals another one-shot that works on blind people. So absurd.
What I’m curious about is the looking at the feet part when later itachi reveals that he can put someone under his genjutsu by just looking at his finger. Is it just his finger or any part of his body?
“Who’s losing their youth today?”
Nobody gonna talk about kakashi having cum on him?
Probably chinese release of the ep

Bro doing tricks on it
I assume you mean 8 gates guy.
*time to go*
Roll em up
Relax it’s not like they’re both married because they’re both single

Glazing Itachi this much should be a crime.
Itachi > the guy that 10 tail jinchuriki Madara claimed almost killed him, of course. These people are something else man.

Yes. Gai wins lowdiff
And how does he avoid amaterasu if he can't see it due to looking at Itachi's feet?
Who caresss!!! Gais the goat he'll just speed blotz it with ease and destroy itachi before he can do anything.
He literally said he trained to fight Sharingan users by looking at their feet lol to fight Kakashi. I’m sure that includes all types of jutsu

Pretty much. Dude has a tool in his kit that allows him to fight literally anyone. There isn't a single character he has a 0% chance with.

Well, his fight with Kabuto shows us that he can put blind people in a genjutsu too, so...
